Great sounding keyboard at this price.
I was really surprised by this keyboard. It sounds lovely. Our children are between 5-10 years old, and we didn't want to break the bank, but still wanted something with velocity sensitive keys. What I didn't expect was for it to sound as good as it does.Pros:- Very light and easy to move around- Feels strong and well made- Plenty of instruments accessible through a straightforward interface- Includes a clever music stand that slots neatly into the carrying handle- Uses AA batteries- Very nice sound for this price pointCons (Hard to fault this really, but I'll try anyway):- the music stand is good for books or a tablet, but A4 sheets are not supported well, and flop over the top of itAs a starter keyboard this is simply great. Easy to use, very energy efficient, and it sounds good. From what I understand this can also be used as a midi keyboard, using a USB cable to attach it to a computer, but we have no use for that function, so cannot comment further on that.

Absolutely brilliant keyboard for such a cheap price
I could easily go on about how surprised I was at the quality of how light and small and brilliant sounding keyboard but I would honestly check it out on YouTube where people will demonstrate how good it actually is and when you hear and see what it plays like then I think you will be reassured and buy it like I did and so many other people have as well, I also love the fact that it's so light and easy to carry around because I have spinal problems so it's lovely and easy and light for me to lift up without being in agony, but I still can't believe how good it is for such a cheap price that's why I had to check it on YouTube instead of just taking the writin reviews which said that it was a brilliant keyboard I wanted to see and hear it for myself and yeah it was better than I thought it would be, I just still can't believe the low price it was £159, I've played on Roland's, Kawaii and my last keyboard was a Korg X3 which was brilliant but then that cost a lot of money but this is brilliant and I love the sounds on it, yeah won't be as near as good as the top keyboards and synthesizers but for it's price it's amazing little keyboard, even though im planning on getting another synthesizer I will still be playing a lot on my Casio, still can't believe it was this cheap, I've played on cheap keyboards and they were awful sounding and only fit for the bin, but this one is completely the opposite to those cheap crappy keyboards.

Really good
Bought this for my wife who was a beginner. She has played it most days for a couple years now and it really is a good bit of kit. Its sounds nice, the keys feel nice and the sound varies depending on how hard the keys are pressed. There are loads of options and sounds etc but we havent really much need for that. It doesnt have the full range of keys so perhaps it isnt good for every song, but perfect for beginners/intermediates. My one issues is that the power cable stopped working after 1.5 years. I think it was a faulty connection in the piano. However, Casio collected it and repaired it under warranty, so just hope it doesnt happen again. If it does, i'll be back to let ya'll know!

Great, good value keyboard.
You get what you pay for and this Casio is a bit pricier than some of the cheaper keyboards on the market. It is still excellent value and is a great keyboard for a learner. Keys feel very similar to a real piano and the sound is excellent. I haven’t even begun to play with the endless options it comes with - but it is fully loaded with gizmos if that’s what you want. Looks good and feels solid. Really pleased with it.

Easy to play
After twenty years of playing a keyboard, arthritis has forced a change. The CT-S300AD is light to play, with a good feel to the keys. Touch sensitivity works well. Sound not quite up to my old Roland but maybe that was because I was used to it. Finding the 'Mellow Piano' option really nice. Very impressed at the price.
