I teach forensics on the high school level and I use this in my classes. The fingerprint pulls are detailed and easy to see the minutiae. For me, I like it because even if the kids don't clean up properly, I can use a magnet with something over it (like paper or something) to clean up. Dont' use the magnet alone or you will never get all the powder off of it. I'm not sure how they do with latents because we don't have a heating chamber for superglue, so we haven't used it for that (well not yet anyway). It works best if you can put the material into the powder, it's a little difficult to use on larger items. Overall, it's good for my class, not sure how great it would be for actual crime solving
