This train is awesome. It made my boys happy. It worked well and the tracks were easy to assemble. It came with the tracks for a full circle connection. If you fit the train correctly on the track it stays and it runs well. It doesn't seem to use a lot of battery power, so very energy efficient. Typical AA battery use. IT doesn't come with the batteries. You can also fit it in the case that it comes in for storage. Great toy for your child. It actually runs around its track and makes train noises.

What can I say about this toy besides that it's beautiful and of good quality? My child loved it, and it's exactly as pictured. I highly recommend it.

my toddler is absolutely obsessed! Such a cute edition to our Christmas decorations. Only downside is you have to be very careful to make sure the wheels are perfectly on the track or it gets stuck and stops or detaches. The little hooks to connect the trains are also a little flimsy and annoying but it doesn’t bother me until my toddler starts purposely derailing the train with other toys and body parts lol….toddlers amirite!

We got this train for our 3 kids ages 4 - 7, and they LOVE it! It was super simple to assemble the track, and that’s a big plus for little fingers. Some may say the track comes apart easily, but I think that’s actually a pro for this, as it still lays flat and put together if on a solid surface. The train is a little tricky to lay on the track correctly, but that is a case for most toy trains. It also helps my kids work on their skills to be steady and calm and patient. The batteries are easy to replace, and it’s nice it’s just 2 AA. The train is not too loud either! I was a little worried it would be obnoxious, but it’s not at all. Just enough to make it fun. The age says 3+, and I think that’s just perfect, if you have an adult to help. We did have a break already, but I can fix it easily with some crazy glue. But my kids are a little tough on toys. I purchased a large train set last year for our big family Christmas tree . This year, I wanted my almost 4 year old to have a little Christmas tree in his room. After all, can you really have too many Christmas decorations?! I got one of those tinsel Christmas trees from the Hobby Lobby and lots of decorations. I wanted him to have a train to go around his tree too (like the big family one). I chose this one because it has the light and sound which are great for keeping the littles attention. I can honestly say I wasn't sure if the train would even be used as it was intended or if he would walk around and play with it. I can happily report that he does both. He likes to take it off the track and play around with the train during the day, but when he is in his room he puts the train and it's train cars on their 'home' track. So, I guess it's actually the best of both worlds. The little horses he gifted to his sister (after all she didn't get a Christmas train and tree in her room- next year I guess!) It's just the right size for a mini tree or for play of course.
