I used this to replace the non-supportive trim piece around a windshield. It was a couple millimeters too wide for my project, but was easy to cut with a ruler and utility knife. It's surprisingly sticky and I didn't need to use any extra adhesive. The strip has stayed in place in hot and cold weather, rain, and car washes. It was really easy to use and a fraction of the cost of a custom fitted strip. Lots of leftovers for other projects as well. I recommend working slowly, peeling the paper away and sticking the strip down a little at a time, because it is a strong instant bond.

The material is good quality and the tape on the the backside is extremely sticky. Easy to cut and modify. A quality product.

As others stated this could use improvement in the sticky area. There essentially is double sided tape applied to the rubber but it only covers 60% maybe. Recommend improving by adding adhesive directly to rubber and on the entire bottom surface. I just installed so I guess I'll wait and see if it comes back up or doesn't stick. The rubber itself was of good quality and nice edges

I have a framed winter pane that goes in a screen door that lets a cold draft in every winter. I put this around the edges and it's solved. It took 5 minutes. It stuck on to the aluminum frame nice and snug. I'm happy.

adhesive is terrible. product lifts in corners. 1 small pre wipe in package??? terrible

I bought this to take away the space between the windshield cowl and the windshield glass. My intent as shown on the product pics was for this to be the bridge between the two surfaces. Initially it did the job and seemed it would be the perfect application for this, but couple of hrs later it just popped up from the pressure of the plastic cowl. The glue was not strong enough! I used it for other applications such as the contact surface between two metal surfaces (e.g., a trunk mounted bike carrier and the car trunk. I cut pieces to desired length and stuck them to the carrier’s flat metal surfaces that contact the trunk. Should prevent scratches and resulting rust.)
