Medaille d’Or Cordovan Cream-Natural Wax Polish for Leather Shoes & Boots

This Saphir Medaille d’Or Cordovan Cream is outstanding. The quality is immediately noticeable—from the rich texture to how smoothly it applies. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs beautifully into the leather without feeling greasy or heavy. It restored color and depth to my black leather shoes instantly, bringing back a deep, natural-looking shine while also nourishing the leather. After buffing, the finish looks professional and well cared for, not overly glossy or artificial. High quality product

I use this on proper AND reversed shell cordovan to maintain a mirror like finish and shine on the proper side of the shell, as well as to preserve the stamps and shine the reversed side of shell!!! A little bit pricey, but still highly recommended!!! A LITTLE bit goes a LONG way and this 75ml jar should last you years to come. It's VERY easy to use too, and not nearly as hard/tough to buff off when necessary as some other creams I've used!!! Just LIGHTLY apply with a finger or cotton rag in a circular motion, allow 5-15 minutes at minimum to dry (the longer the better IMO so it gets DEEP into the fine pores that shell cordovan have, so it can nourish it properly), then hit it with your horsehair brush. If you can SEE lines from the horsehair brush, i recommend buffing it out with a 100% cotton rag until the horsehair brush lines DO disappear, and finish it off with the horsehair brush, and that's it. DONE!!! I have a VERY large shell cordovan collection of over 75+ wallets and 6-8 watch straps, and this stuff keeps everything looking phenomenal and always at it's best. It often makes my shell look better than new, and the first thing I do when I get a new shell cordovan item is to put my Saphir Cordovan Cream on it 🙏✌️👍🤩

I used this on my Black Shell Cordovan Alden Indy boots, and they did a great job! The boots definitely needed to be cleaned up, and this made them look outstanding!

This crème polish is only for shell cordovan leather calf skin. This color is perfect for the classic Horween color #8. A little goes a long way. Saphir products are expensive but worth it.

Expensive, but I think worth it. If you have nice shoes - this well help keep them looking nice for many years. I think that the smell is great. It works if used correctly - it does a beautiful job. Coverage - it took me 2 years to use up the first container. The size of the container is fine. I like the square glass shape. Makes me think of my fountain pen ink bottles. I nothing negative to say other than it costs a little more, but I think worth it.

utilisé sur du cuir cordovan de horween, fait un trés bon travail sans denaturer le cuir, transparent, elle sent cependant assez fort pendant quelque minutes aprés son utilisation.

Das Ledergeschäft, in dem ich zum ersten mal Schucreme von Saphir, sie wurde mir empfohlen, gekauft hatte, gibt es nicht mehr. Nachdem der Geschäftsinhaber diese Schucreme nicht mehr hatte, er hat in einer anderen Stadt noch ein Ledergeschäft und, so schien es mir, auch nicht besorgen wollte, nahm ich ein altes Glas mit in meinen Computerunterricht. Ich gehe seit einem Jahr einmal wöchentlich in einen Art Computerunterricht für "Alte ab 60". Meine "Mitschüler" 6 Leute + 2 ehrenamtliche "Lehrkräfte" haben mich insgeheim ein bisschen für verrückt erklärt. Jedoch mir wurde geholfen, ich konnte sie über das Internet bestellen und das sogar auf Rechnung. Ich habe dann ein Paar Schuhe eingecremt und am nächsten Tag im Unterricht vorgeführt. Ich habe erklärt, die streicht sich wie Butter auf das Leder, lasse sie über Nacht stehen und bearbeite sie dann am Nächsten Tag. Die sehen aus wie neu.

As usual, this is a high quality product from Saphir. Anyone who has invested in a pair of cordovans would be well advised to maintain their lustre with this cream. It does, because of the nature of the hide, take slightly longer to be absorbed. However, the finished results are very good.
