We just got a new puppy and needed a mild but effective shampoo. This checked all the boxes and we have been very happy with it. We have a small Shihpoo and this has not shown any adverse effects or irritations. It lathers gently with his longer fluffy hair and keeps his fur soft and tangle free. It also has a very mild, fresh scent and he smells great afterwards. Highly recommend and we will continue buying.

Bought this for 2 4 week foster puppies. Absolutely love this product! It made their coats soft and shiny. No strong or harsh smells but feels extremely clean. Its was a much larger bottle than I was expecting, so good price for size. Does not suds up a lot, so makes it easy to wash out of coat for the younger unsure puppies. I would 100% buy again.

The Burt’s Bees 2-in-1 tearless shampoo and conditioner for puppies is overall a great product for the average dog owner. I own a cattle dog mix who is almost two years old. He has quite long and silky fur, a considerable amount of brush on his tail, and no undercoat. He doesn’t have any skin allergies. I feel as though I do have to use quite a bit of the product to really clean him all over, but that may be because he has so much fur in some places. I don’t bathe my dog often. I’ve only used this shampoo twice in the past 6 months (once when I first got him, and once for the coming of spring shedding). It’s still about 3/4 filled, or a bit more. I know it should definitely last until the end of the year. It doesn’t “lather” in the way you would expect a shampoo to—since it has no sulfates, it doesn’t foam up like most human shampoos do. However, a pet shampoo without sulfates is actually a great idea. Sulfates essentially help increase the effectiveness of the shampoo in cleaning dirt, oil, dead skin, and all that other junk. On the other hand, sulfates can be too powerful and strip away the natural proteins and oils from hair, which can cause irritation and damage. Your dog’s fur is their first line of defense, so you don’t want to damage it! I would always recommend to go for a shampoo without sulfates, like this one. I’m not sure about the other varieties of the Burt’s Bees for Dogs shampoos, but as for this one, when it says no fragrances, it means it. This has absolutely no scent. I noticed a couple of the other ones might smell like lavender or apple, but this one? Nothing. So after the bath, my dog just smells like wet dog until he’s dried. If that doesn’t bother you, this one could be for you. If you want a more pleasant scent, maybe you could try another variety, like the calming shampoo? Regardless, the lack of scent doesn’t change the effectiveness of the shampoo, and its scentlessness/lack of fragrances is great for sensitive dogs. I can’t speak for all owners, such as those who bathe their dogs often or show them, but for an ordinary dog owner who just bathes their dogs a couple times a year, this one could be for you! For only $7.49, this lasts a long time and works tremendously well. My dog always gets compliments on his coat and I’ve been asked if I take him to the groomers. :) All in all, it’s a bargain for a new puppy or dog owner.

This puppy shampoo by Burt’s Bees is very gentle and non-irritating. I found the lather quite lacking, but perhaps it needs to be to have a shampoo that is so gentle. I made the mistake of putting it in a shampoo foam dispenser, don’t make that mistake. Just use it straight from the bottle. Foam dispensers already require diluted soap, and as little lather as it already produces, skip the foam dispenser and go straight to the bottle. Still didn’t see much lather, but definitely worked better than the foam. It doesn’t smell like much, but my dog no longer had the sweaty dog smell after using. His fur was so soft and shiny! I would imagine the lack of scent is better for the puppy as not to irritate them. I especially liked this one because it was tear free. Some shampoos advertised for puppies are not. Overall, this is gentle, non- irritating, cleans well and doesn’t strip their fur of natural oils. It just cleans them, with no over powering scents or suds. I make sure he is rinsed very well, and he did not itch or anything after the bath, which tells me it didn’t dry or irritate his skin. I think I will continue to use this even once he is no longer a puppy, just for how gentle it is.

You need to use a ton of shampoo even for a tiny 3 month old yorkie puppy. Its tearless so that's great but honestly...it just kinda sucks. It washed him okay and got him cleaner, but it was a struggle to get him saturated. There is no fragrance other than just "clean" so I did like that since I know fragrances can irritate their skin if they are allergic. This does not irritate his skin. The bottle is pretty big which is nice value for the money, but the fact that you have to use so much makes it a bit of a miss.

We have a 4 month old puppy and this was perfect. Very gentle! Lathers nicely and rinses out easily. Thoroughly cleaned her coat and easy to brush. It helped to keep her coat tangle free. It has a very soft pleasant scent.

I absolutely love this 2-in-1 puppy shampoo and conditioner. It makes bath time so much easier by combining both steps into one, which is a big help when grooming a puppy. It is gentle, with no overpowering fragrance, just a light, clean scent that doesn’t linger. I really appreciate that it’s made with natural ingredients, and good for puppies who have sensitive skin. My puppy hasn’t had any irritation at all. After each bath, her coat feels soft, clean, and well-hydrated. A little goes a long way, and I think the price is very reasonable for the quality. This product has been perfect for my grooming routine. Highly recommend!

Not bad but could be a bit more foamy

I received the shampoo with a lot of spillage and some of the contents was wasted. In future pls make sure that your products are properly sealed
