Delicious Coffee Alternative – Great Value and So Convenient!
The Organic Dandy Blend Instant Herbal Beverage is a fantastic find. This 156-cup bag lasts a long time, making it the best price for such a high-quality, organic herbal drink. The taste is smooth and rich, very similar to coffee, but without any caffeine jitters. I love that it’s made with dandelion and other healthy ingredients. It dissolves instantly and is so convenient for busy mornings or an afternoon pick-me-up. The packaging keeps it fresh and easy to scoop. I’m very likely to buy this again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a natural and tasty coffee alternative. Absolutely 5 stars!

A Perfect Coffee Replacement
I could not ask for a better dandelion tea/coffee blend. I replaced coffee with this nearly three weeks ago, and honestly—I don’t miss coffee at all. The flavor is rich and satisfying, and the texture makes it feel like a true coffee experience. One teaspoon gives a lighter, tea-like taste, while two teaspoons create a bold, coffee-like cup. Sometimes I mix in a little mushroom coffee or sprinkle in some cinnamon, but on its own, this is high-quality and delicious. I also love how simple it is to make—just add water and stir, no filters or fancy equipment required. Plus, it’s caffeine-free, gentle on the stomach, and still has that full-bodied flavor I crave. This is by far the best dandelion blend I’ve ever tried, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a smooth transition away from coffee, this is the one.

This blend is so delicious!
I adore dandy blend. It’s delicious and adds a robust, roasted flavor to shakes and teas. Can be used as a coffee-substitute or additive. I really love it for helping with detoxification and just as a nice drink-treat.

Delicious!
I discovered Dandy Blend when i was forced (for health reasons) to go on a diet that excluded ALL caffeine - not even decaff tea was allowed. But on the slip that the specialist gave me detailing my diet, next to "no caffeine" it said "Dandy Blend ok". I thought "what's dandy blend?" I love my decaff Nespresso pods and so the thought of not being able to have my creamy hot morning drink, I went home and looked up Dandy Blend online to find it on Amazon. I actually like it just as much as coffee and maybe a little better. It tastes delicious cold or hot. Its easy to mix and comes in the same form as instant coffee so it immediately blends and dissolves with any liquid. I've had it sweet or without any sweetener. I have it with almond milk or black and its seriously delicious any which way you spin it. However, word to those of you who are looking for something that tastes exactly like coffee but has no caffeine - if you blind tested Dandy and coffee, you could easily tell which is which. But its delicious and tastes similar enough that after only a week or so, I couldn't remember how coffee tasted different. It reminds me of properly brewed cold coffee where it lacks any acidity taste but is still very rich and smooth. So the taste was more than enough for me to drink it, but then i stumbled upon the health benefits of dandelion and i'm a Dandy Blend lifer now! 1. Digestion: Dandelion root is a mild laxative and also balances the good bacteria found in your intestines. It also helps your stomach and liver release stomach acid and bile which keeps your digestion moving properly. 2. Kidney support: Dandelion is a diuretic which assists the kidneys in flushing out waste, salt and excess water. This can be especially helpful for women who have trouble with bloating during PMS. Instead of leaving you dehydrated from water loss, dandelion will replenish your potassium stores which is an important electrolyte. 3. Liver support: As mentioned above, Dandelion root helps the liver release bile which is an important function of this organ. This promotes removal of toxins and replenishment of electrolytes. 4. Antioxidants: It is known that coffee can help remove free radicals but it is also known that dandelion root does this better! Dandelion root is packed full of antioxidants which slows the aging process (while coffee actually accelerates aging). 5. Cancer fighting: Dandelion has been shown to fight cancer cells and this claim has been backed up with A LOT of research. Every part of this plant is packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients that have been proven to slow the growth and even prevent formation of cancer cells. 6. Diabetes: This is another benefit of coffee which is listed above, so why not switch over to Dandy blend to have the same benefits PLUS many more! Dandelion helps regulate blood sugar and insulin which is something that coffee actually destroys. 7, Blood pressure: Dandelion’s diuretic effects leads to more frequent urination which in turn will lower blood pressure. Fiber and Potassium found in Dandelion will also regulate blood pressure. 8. Inflammation: While most people are aware of the inflammation they can experience in physical injuries, more education is starting to reach people about the issues that internal inflammation can cause. Inflammation is the culprit in many diseases and illnesses today. Dandelion will reduce inflammation through it’s essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and phytonutrients. This reduction of inflammation helps internally as well as externally from sport injuries. 9. Immune System: If what I mentioned above wasn’t enough, dandelion boosts immune function! It destroys any bugs entering your system so can be especially helpful during the winter months. The only downside of Dandy Blend is that it is VERY susceptible to moisture and will start to dissolve so if any drops get into your Dandy container, you'll wind up with sticky clumps of moist dandy paste. However, we keep our in a simple vacuum container that we used to keep our coffee in for freshness and we have had no problems at all. The product bag also has a ziplock top so you could also just keep it in the product bag if you didn't want to invest in an airtight container. And to answer your question, no, i was NOT paid to post this review or given a free bag of Dandy Blend. But, if the vendor ever wanted to send me a free bag of Dandy, I would certainly not complain. :)

So very tasty and healthy and relaxing
I love this stuff! I could drink it all day. Such a similar taste to coffee too. It has some great health benefits also. Not to mention there are so many ways you can drink it: It tastes fantastic cold without anything else added just iced. Hot with cream, or add some cacao powder and a little honey, or put in some mushroom chia to make a nice evenly balanced drink. I have bought two pounds of this stuff and used it up in a month and a half that is how much I like it. I do wish the smaller bags were a little more affordable though.

Pleasant Surprise for a Long-Time Coffee Drinker
I’ve been a coffee drinker for years, but after being diagnosed with GERD/acid reflux, I needed to find something that wouldn’t make symptoms worse. I decided to try Dandy Blend, and I was honestly pleasantly surprised. Does it taste exactly like coffee? No — and I think it’s best to go into it knowing that. But it does have a warm, roasted flavor that you get used to quickly, and it’s actually very enjoyable on its own. Sometimes I mix it with a small teaspoon of Nescafé Espresso instant coffee when I’m missing that “coffee kick,” but most days I just drink this by itself. The most important part: I noticed a real difference in how my stomach felt. No burning, no discomfort, and definitely no jitters or caffeine crash. It’s smooth, easy, and feels good to drink. If you’re trying to cut back on coffee, have acid reflux, or just want a gentler alternative, I really recommend giving Dandy Blend a try. It’s become a daily staple for me and something I plan to keep using.

dark rich coffee it is not, but it is an admirable alternative.
It was surprisingly easy to swap out my morning cup of strong, fresh brewed coffee for this semi watery instant blend. Hot or cold, I like my coffee strong, black, and unsweetened; whether it be from fresh ground beans brewed in a pot, a cup made from the Keurig machine, or a tantalizingly thick and strong liquid made using the Turkish coffee method, and occasionally the double cold brew method for iced coffee on extra hot days. Oh geez, just writing that makes me want to get grinding. Alright, so, good coffee is a joy. So then, why would I look for an alternative? Well, I was ruminating about how drinking it day in and day out has lost much of its potency for me. Whether it was one cup or several, it was all the same. So then it became simply about the taste and MINDLESS routine/ritual. Could I possibly drink something else to get me through the day, then on more mindful occasions, truly enjoy all the taste and effects of coffee--such as that beautiful rush of energy that seems to have subsided? Without much effort or willpower, I decreased daily intake and found myself fine with one cup of coffee per day, occasionally more when it was just there. That has been a fair way to go, but I became increasingly more curious about coffee alternatives. I also drink tea, but that is not an "alternative" to me, nor pop/soda, nor straight carob powder. A true adaptive alternative needs to be close to the item or behavior one is looking to replace. Therefore I began looking online for something "coffee-like". I decided on DandyBlend because the ingredients sounded promising in terms of taste and health. No particular event prompted me to make a switch, it was more like a variety of things. While there appears to be benefit to daily consumption of coffee, there seems to be more benefit to not drinking it every day. Are my adrenals being over taxed? Can my mildly elevated blood pressure benefit from reducing/eliminating caffeine? Perhaps I can find more natural energy and better sleep with eliminating coffee? *If* I were to get pregnant/breastfeed, wouldn't I have to give up coffee *gasp* (and a host of other things) for quite some time? Hence my purchase of 2 lbs for $28 (for you K-cup drinkers, the coffee price per pound is $25-$60!). The granules very much remind me of "instant coffee". Actually, it smells like it, and somewhat tastes like it, too, which is not necessarily a bad thing. My taste buds think I am drinking coffee, or something so close to it, that I am not craving coffee beans. I am also liking the expedited means of getting this beverage prepared as it dissolves easily in hot or cold water. Scoop out weeks worth or so out of the bag and into a glass container. Store the remainder in a cool spot or the refrigerator to maintain freshness and eliminate clumping. Let me tell you how I feel: The first day, I decided not to have any coffee at all, just DandyBlend. I felt alright. The second day I had a bit of a headache and felt fatigued. I decided to add a splash (1/8c) of coffee to my DandyBlend to help alleviate any withdrawal symptoms. This is a good way to go- reduce systematically which will benefit physiologically and psychologically. I did the same the next, then just didn't bother after that. The transition was quick for me. It has been a week. I have felt fine, much in the same way as I did with drinking the coffee, yet the energy source seems more natural than contrived, if that helps. For preparation, I use hot or cold water, then I add a teaspoon (sometimes even tablespoon) of unsulphered blackstrap molasses (good health benefits and adds to the "coffee" taste). Since I have been making a large cup of iced DandyBlend, I seem to use a lot of the powder. I treat this like "coffee" and don't drink it past noon, however, that is a personal choice, and I doubt it would hinder good sleep later. Adjust according to your taste. For what it is worth, and mind you, it has only been a week, and I engage in other healthful behaviors, my blood pressure has been stable (and healthy) for day time readings. Night time is another story, but I really need to not take a reading during or just after a PvP warzone match in an online MMO-RPG that I play, ha! (You gamers will know what I mean)
