I got this to use as a small bumper mounted box on my travel trailer. I wasn’t expecting much given the price point, but was pleasantly surprised. The quality, finish and coating was way better than comparable truck tool boxes that I was looking at. Super durable, attractive and strong yet lightweight. On these points it’s a winner, but the affordable price seals it. The only thing I didn’t like was the locking latch- anytime you want to simply secure the lid shut, it necessarily locks every time. The key blanks are also unusual or proprietary, which makes getting copies a challenge, but my local locksmith was able to handle it. These are minor issues that are really my personal annoyance with the box, but overall it’s a great box at a great price.

Water proof, was left in the back of a pick up truck in all types of weather and conditions, held up well, decent storage, worked for what we needed it for.

Nice box and this is my second one I have purchased for my trailers. The end handles will rust within 30 days being outside. I also needed another key, but no blanks were available at my local locksmith. I could not find any on the internet, and the company Arksen Outdoor gear shop only seems to exist online. I tried their email and phone contact and none were valid. The street address also wasn't valid. Weird. It was less hassle to replace the lock with one that I could get key blanks for than to deal with the lock that came with it.

Super nice design, nice color, thick walls, locks great! Overall, great price for the money. I was sure it would arrive dented, but it was packaged very well. Holds all of my drills and battery systems.

please keep in mind, this is NOT a truck bed tool box. this is a metal storage box with handles that you can use anywhere, inside your truck, RV, house, storage place, not a tool box that you hang on the bed of your truck. pay attention to the description, about 10 inch hight, 30 inch length, and about 13 inch wide. just a box. I use a truck bed electric retractable bed tonneau cover and it fits right under perfectly. I looked at the description specifically for the size, so I knew what I was getting. my only concern was to be able to get it in 42-45 inch length. that could fit the bed from side to side, but was not available in that size, so 30 inch should do the job as well. this message is for the manufacturer; If you can make this same measurements but in 45 inch lengthwise (10 in H,13 in W, 45 in L), I would definitely buy another one my eyes closed. :) good product, super very light weight, fits all my towing and lifting tools without using to much space under the cover canister in the truck bed..

great 30" box. I am a mechanic and I own one of those black mac carts. you know the cart that comes with a lid but no one ever has the lid. Hard plactic black mac cart. I dont think they sell them anymore. Anyway I got tired of rolling my cart and my tool cart over to my work area (bay). this chest fits and opens perfectly under that cart. drilled some holes and secured with 4 corner bolts. I have my impacts (air and electric) , small sledge , prybars, lifting chains, long matco 1/2 drive ratchet. come along , oil drains and pieces of wood for leverage . I love this box. I bought a second today for the house. I hate having to bring my milwaukee tools inside whenever I take a break while I work on my car outside. In the end its a good storage box. its fits under a mac tools cart perfectly. measure before you buy you wont be disappointed.

The dimensions shown in ad are for the top only the box is smaller. The lock will not release the key when open. In order to open the top you must slip the latch over the key which requires you to remove the key from your key chain or have it on its own key chain which will fit through the hole on the latch. It’s a pain in the a$$
