Lowa Men's Hunter Goretex EVO Extreme Hiking Boot

I love these boots for my job in wildland fire. The fit like a pair of comfy sneakers right out of the box. I’m wearing mine right now. TSA left me one when they searched my bags on a flight to the Delta Fire in California so I had to order a new pair. The first day I put them on I had a gnarly 6 mile hike and didn’t experience any discomfort. I’ve been using LOWA for nearly a decade and have never had anything resembling a blister. I will never again put another pair of logger boots on my feet (read White’s, Nick’s, Hawthorne’s, etc). They have exclent ankle support, water proof, Vibram soles. The way the tongue folds down to accept your feet is a thing of beauty. Not at all like trying to cram your foot into a pair of Whites. I can’t give them enough praise. These will likely be the only brand of boot I buy for the rest of my career.

These Lowa boots are awesome. Right out of the box, they are comfortable. When laced up right. They offer so much stability and support. They are more than worth the money. So excited to put them to the test. The only thing I can say is. If you have a wide foot. I would say to order a wide. My foot is regular. And they fit snug. I am a size 11, with a little room in the toe box area. These are true to size. Hopefully my comments help you with your purchase.

I have had these in alaska for a winter and summer season. Frankly they are the bong. I have never needed heavy socks in the winter. Nor sweated in the summer. They breath so fantasticly. I have two friends that have older models for about 5 years.... awesome boots no chance I'll risk buying any other brand... love the.Also note the height was off putting at first... but again very well designed to ensure you are save on uneven ground or rushing through a stream.Also cool as hell looking.

These boots I ordered in June were my 3rd pair of Lowa boots. I work outside a lot in all kinds of conditions. My first two pairs of Lowa boots held up very well and lasted about 2 years each. On this pair of boots I just got two months ago, the rubber rand has started to separate from the leather in two places and there are deep cracks in the leather. I contact Lowa for return information and I was told that the warranty is voided because I bought the boots from an “unauthorized dealer”. Buyer Beware! Quality is down and warranty is garbage!!! Never again!

This boot runs small and narrow. I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on the shoe or boot and sometimes a wide EE size. . Based on other reviews and the desire to wear thick winter socks I went with the size 11. Unfortunately my toes were smashed up against the end and my foot squeezed tight even in a thin low ankle running sock. I tried on a friends size 12 and it is loose in the heal and too long even with winter socks and a liner. I have tried to exchange with Amazon for a size 11.5, which is currently in stock at Amazon Prime but exchanging sizes is not an option I was told by the Customer Service Rep. I can return them for a full refund and then order the larger size. However, my order was made while on sale and an exchange for the correct size will not be honored at the sale price. I think that is very poor customer service. I think the boot is an awesome boot and my friend who has hunted some tuff hunts with his, love his boots but also had to up size for proper fit. Good Boot but a Bum Deal from Amazon. I have ordered a ton of stuff from Amazon and this is the first time I have ever had to return something. Wishing for a better Exchange Policy. Dropped to 4 stars based upon sizing discrepancy only.

Nice Boots but are not true to size. Shipping was a nightmare. Shipped through DHL and they held 1 of the 3 boxes for payment. Which was already paid.

High quality boot expensive but worth it
