These baby nail scissors are amazing! The quality is excellent, with sharp but safe blades that make trimming tiny nails easy and stress-free. I bought my first Pigeon nail cutters in 2016 and have bought 4 more since (not because they wore out, but because I misplaced them)! These are THE BEST! I've used them over the course of 6 years for 3 different children. The fun doesn't stop when the kids grow up - I still use them to cut my 6 year old's nails! They are very comfortable to use and you can be very precise, which is great with the soft nails of a newborn or the squirminess of a toddler. And in the course of likely over 100+ nail cuttings, I never accidentally cut a kid. One additional benefit of these over the nail filing type approach is that it is easy to use these to cut the corners of the nails - the nail filers tend to leave sharp corners that the baby can scratch him/herself with. Highly recommended!

These are the best baby nail trimmers you'll ever find. There is another brand which has longer metal sections which are a little dangerous- but these are perfect for newborns/toddlers/etc. We've used these for 6 years now on my kid and it makes nail cutting easy! I gift these to everyone with a newborn!

I really love these! They’re sharp enough to get the job done but still feel totally safe to use on my baby. I can trim my baby’s tiny nails without stressing about accidentally scratching or poking his delicate skin. The size is small but comfortable to hold with good grip. It’s very durable. I have two of these and have been using it for about four months now and it’s still as sharp as new.

You want something easy and efficient After filing my baby's nails the first 2 months I lost the patience to sit and wait until she fell asleep and I had access to her squirmy hands and toes. I researched and read review after review before I decided to buy these scissors. Finally I mustered the courage to cut my baby girl's claws and it was a cinch! It was so much easier than I had imagined and I was finished in a few minutes. I would take half and hour filing her nails previously and they would grow back within a week. These scissors have definitely made my life easier and at ease. :) UPDATE: (12/17/18) I still use this on my 2 year old, fingers and toes. These really, really are the safest, fail-proof baby scissors. I've tried the Tommie Tippee ones (chickened out as couldn't tell if I was getting to the skin) and clippers (thought I was doing well but then nicked my baby's finger which bled :( ) . I then swore off doing anything with the scissors until I got these (I truly believe Japanese products live up to their claims). The blades are just perfect for a newborn's as they are very small precise, allowing you to see where on the nail you're cutting. Yet the handle is made for adults so you get perfect control. Within 10 mins, I was able to trim my very wriggly little one's nails (with no blood, too). Really, really impressive - if you're thinking of getting any baby scissors at all, get these ones - you really can't go wrong and are worth the wait from Japan.

Made clipping my baby's nails so much easier and quicker - I was using an emery board prior to this, but that took too long (done while the babe is napping). The scissors are rounded on the ends and the blade is quite short, so the chances of nicking is minimized. Highly recommended!
