AD215L advertised, but AD215W sent
The model advertised on Amazon was for model AD215l, but I received a different model, AD215W. It looks the same, but whether is has the same features, or more or less, from the AD215L model I do not know. I had to download the driver for it because I couldn't use the supplied disc, and I had a problem with the download working. It wasn't until I got everything set up that I noticed the different model number printed on the scanner. Long story short, I finally got it to work, but it takes a bit of doing to get all the configurations down. Otherwise, so far, it's much faster with the ADF than the old brother that didn't have that. I just hope it holds up, because it is going to be used everyday.

Can hardly scan simple documents and receipts
May be that the software for this scanner is out of date, but it has trouble doing simple tasks. Wouldn't recommend buying this scanner anymore.

Do not powered on from the computer' connect to home line.
It is very good compact scanner, install full driver version from computer do not use the diskette\cd.
