There's always a good chunk of reviews that say these don't work, but having tested it on two separate HDMI TVs, I'm happy to report mine is fully functional. I noticed absolutely no different in picture quality between the 720 and 1080 modes, in fact, both are quite fuzzy, but I wasn't expecting any better. The sound is good. Remember to change your PS2 to component video mode before swapping over to this connector.

This is really good for converting my original PS2 for my modern TV. Sound and picture quality are good and it even allows me to play ps1 games. Although I do often find that it won't take up the whole TV screen (43in in picture). Not a big issue as it's not an upscaler but it might put others off. A good value for money solution though.

I've always remembered playing an original Playstation at a very young age and wanted to buy one to relive those memories. Only issue is that all of the TV's / monitors at home have no RCA input. I was tempted to get the cheaper option of just a simple RCA to HDMI converter for about £12 or so, but reviews said that they had issues with the picture and so I decided to pay a little bit extra for this for safe measure (and I am so glad I did). When it arrived, it came with the adapter itself, a HDMI cable, a Micro USB cable to power it and a small manual on how to set it up. Thanks to another review on this product, I was aware that plugging in the adapter to the Playstation itself would feel tight, but fitted nonetheless. Luckily I had my Xbox One S next to the PS so used the USB port on the front to power the adapter (Ironic I know). When I powered on the PS, the iconic boot-up screen showed and I was delighted not to have any immediate issues. However I did notice that the bottom 4 pixels of my TV were flickering between green and black which I did get worried about. Took me about 20 minutes to realise I had the wrong aspect ratio on. I was on 16:9 when I needed 4:3. After changing that, I put in Gran Turismo and have been playing with the console almost everyday for the last week and have had no issues whatsoever :)

Easy to set up as the unit plugs directly into the PlayStation (1+2). The picture quality was slightly better than a previous unit I bought (scart to hdmi) but still pretty poor. However I recommend the best option is an OSSC unit, more expensive but worth it.

My kids had the PS2 out and lost the cable to connect to the TV, while looking for a replacement online this popped up and it is great. It is plug and play, no settings changes needed to get it working - which was a bonus with the kids wanting to play! Game play is as expected, sound works well. Overall really pleased with it.

I used it on the PS1, PS2 and PS3, and it works. It does go out of signal for a second then it returns. Mostly because it goes from NTSC to Pal.

Ürün çok güzel . Gayet iyi çalışıyor. Tek bir eksiği aux girişinin olmaması o kadar buda eğer hoparlörsüz bir monitöre takarsanız problem.

The product definitely works well on modern hardware. I was able to hook up my ps2 to a fairly new samsung monitor and it works like a charm. However, the image does not display at 1080p or 720p but just the native resolution you would get using scart or AV. Do not buy this if you expect that the product is going to scale the image, do get this if you don't care about that and just want to be able to play your ps2 on a modern monitor.
