I bought this bag back in college when I needed to carry around a bulky cheap laptop for school work and personal projects. Now 7 years later I use it to carry my gaming laptop, work laptop, and portable monitor with all the cables (2 power bricks, display connectors, phone chargers, watch chargers, etc.) and my large MX Master 2S mouse and a change of clothes and some snacks as my carry on. Allows me to easily grab and go to work or play from anywhere. Even fits many tight international carry on restrictions, yet still large enough to fit all your gear.

Be advised!The padding on the bottom of the laptop compartment is insufficient to say the least. I suggest to Solo New York to look at this flaw. I recommend a thin, resilient hard gel for the bottom. Similar to the gel padding in mouse pads with wrist support.I bought this laptop backpack to accommodate my 17.3" MSI Raider 10SFS-226, a heavy full-sized high end gaming laptop. My first reaction to correct the issue was to buy a Pelican 1495 laptop case, setting my back at least $200. After hauling the Pelican 1495 laptop case around for a month, with the weight of my laptop and the case was 25-40lbs, maybe more. I chose to stick a hand towel folded a few times to fit snug at the bottom while not adding too much bulk so the laptop wouldn't fit.So far so good. I am brainstorming more ideas, maybe I'll buy a keyboard wrist gel pad and cut to size.

This BARELY fits a 17.3" laptop. I'm talking about zippers scrapping the corners as you close the backpack. The padding on the laptop pocket is almost non-existent. So be sure to gingerly put your back pack down softly. Plus is it's a great backpack if you're not using it for a laptop. Would not recommend it for electronics.

I'm using this instead of a brief case to use as treasurer of a club. It has many compartment starting with the largest that houses my 17" laptop that is usually a problem fitting anywhere else. Then a large compartment for books & ledgers and a smaller front pouch that I keep fund raising materials, check books, ticket roll, etc. Then there are 2 side pouches I use one as a bank the other for business cards & rubber stamps. You can carry like a bag or on the shoulder which is very convenient considering I never seem to have enough hands to carry things. Last, it was cheaper by miles compared with all the alternatives.

Great Backpack that offers security to my belongings and it offer good spaces for carrying everything I need to go to gym, or school or even in a trip.

I have another solo backpack and love it, I needed this one for school and it has worked great! Love solo and how sturdy there backpacks are! I wouldn't get any other backpack but solo. Shipped to me fast and was in a good sturdy box. Great product!
