This is by far the best mixer available
I work in the protective coatings industry and this mixer is used with 2-part epoxy coatings as thick as peanut butter, cementitious polymer cements with aggregate and abrasive media, but it can also be used for run of the mill paints and drywall muds. The mixing action is incredibly through and is well worth the money. It will last forever because it is stainless steel, simply sand blast it to a shiny finish if there is cured material on it.

Fast shipment of good product
Great tool for cold-process soap-making on a larger scale (using a 5 gallon bucket or larger). Works very well, emulsified the mix better than a similar size immersion blender. Highly recommended.

Awesome for mashing grain for home brewing
Awesome for mashing grain for home brewing. Handles a 15 gallon MLT with no issues, busts up doughballs like it was born to do it. Probably not the standard use case for this thing, but I love it.

... batches (20 quart) of organic fertilizer using dry materials like soymeal, bone meal
Used for mixing up large batches (20 quart) of organic fertilizer using dry materials like soymeal, bone meal, kelp meal, etc. does a very good job. If you try it at home, note that it generates a lot of dust.

These work great for mixing thick epoxies
These work great for mixing thick epoxies. We had problems with the open type because they would nick the plastic pails. They did not come with three flats on the shaft, so we had to machine our own.
