I used a blue heavy scrub pad to try and get some burnt on oil off a teflon pan. It removed the oil AND the Teflon - that wasn't in the manual... Choose your pad with care and note that there is a LARGE gap between the ruthlessness of the white and blue pads. In use the scrubber won't get easily into curves or corners either which also promotes uneven cleaning and with the splash screen down you can't keep a close eye on your progress so you may want to get some goggles and use it naked (without the splash screen I mean - you should probably at least wear an apron if you are cleaning seriously). On a flat surface that can take a harsh abrasive then this is right at home and does what you hope it would. I haven't yet summoned the courage to try polishing the car with it as I quite like my car painted but a good buffing pad and polish could make very light work of tired paint I suspect. This is power to your elbow, no doubt about it. But, as we know, with great power comes the opportunity to wreck your pans and other personal possessions - practice and test before you go hog wild on the Bentley.

I saw this product advertised on TV and thought I bet you don't get the results they were getting. But I was moving flats and needed to clean my bathroom and kitchen an this item was excellent. Charge lasted for ages and the end results for moving ground in dirt was very good. Very happy with my purchse.

Great little tool to have but be careful as you can easily damage softer surfaces or paint work with the plastic edge of the spinning disk. Also battery life could be better with only around an hour of heavy use. Recommended nevertheless as end results are really good.

Performance keeps cutting out, pads don't last long. Wouldn't let me register for the extended warranty says F0 code doesn't work. Emailed them, sent in proof of purchase, still won't register for the 3 years. Only used it a few times and it constantly cuts out. Support wanted photographs, sent it in, declined extended warranty so I've got.nothing now. Their pads are super flimsy, so removing them to use a different one would rip the backing off them costing more money to buy replacements. They would also curl up at the edges making clearninf difficult. Charging the unit would take so long that I just used manual scrubbing. Easy of use is quite heavy, awkward sometimes as you have to hold it in a certain way to clean, no good I'd you don't have a good grip. Sturdiness is quiet hefty solid unit, but fails when it using it, it would spin and cut out Ease of cleaning is difficult, could have just used your hand it still works the same way. Will never ever buy anything from them again, they're part of Bosch, and will never buy one of their products again either.

Seems well made and what it says on the box, but what they don't tell you is that no power adaptor is included. The instructions say charge the tool fully before use - to do that you need to buy an adaptor to plug it in. Dremel is an established supplier of power tools, so why are they so mean that they can't put a power adaptor in the kit? The kit is not a cheap item and this really takes the edge off what is otherwise a good product.

Nice item, sturdy build, easy to use and does exactly what it says. Purchased to use cleaning a car, brush attachment works well on carpets and seats, it being water proof means i dont have to worry about it getting wet. Would recommend

I've used this for cleaning the burnt on deposits from a cast iron griddle pan - the first time I've done this after a few years of use. Effortless removal. The secret, as Dremel often point out, is to use a light touch. Works like a dream.

I'm not sure what Dremel was thinking attaching the loop velcro to these pads but the tool rips it clean off with regular use. I reattached the first one from this set with a healthy dose of spray adhesive (so it didn't soak into either side) and we'll see how that holds up. These are fantastic for cleaning glass cook tops but the velcro separation is a major pain.

This is an excellent product. I use it for everything, from window cleaning to shoe shining. It is has a sort of general usefulness that most other domestic machines don’t. Yet, it is sometimes very hard to use for something you’d think it is made for. Treating smaller or curved objects with it can be unnerving. This is because of the high speed. You cannot hold it steady enough to treat those surfaces. Speed control would be awesome.

Just what I needed for a polishing project on a classic car.
