Excellent blade for Festool TS 55
I've bought 11 of these blades for my Festool TS55. They are always razor sharp, leave a great cut and last long. We do custom millwork and I always keep a spare blade in my box in case I saw through a screw.

Great blade at a good price point.
I used this blade to cut down finished cabinets and it worked great with no chipping.

Melamine
New, I was able to get a flawless cut on both faces in melamine by making a scoring cut at 2mm depth in the back of the material. I have a Mafell saw with a particular feature that makes this scoring cut especially easy to execute. Results may vary depending on the saw and operator, but the blade can do it. I don't normally work with melamine but I was asked to do some work with it and wanted to check my equipment. I would say that there's a good chance with a track saw and these blades you can get good results cutting melamine. On any job involving more than a few dozen cuts in melamine I'd want to have a fresh blade on hand in case the cut quality from the 1st fresh blade shows signs of degrading. ### I bought a second blade to install on a Festool HK saw. Without scoring there's a little chipping on the top side when crosscutting sensitive plywoods. A little filling and sanding will fix it. A scoring cut first might help but I haven't experimented. It's not a Forrest blade but it's ok.

Close to Festool Quality and alot more afordable.
While i was worried that i would not be satisfied by these less expensive blades, i have been happily surprised. They are a great alternative to spending top dollar for Festool blades that are frankly a bit overpriced. I'd love to see the actual cost compared to mark-up on saw blades. Using a sharp blade saves time, improves quality and pleasure of work imensly. The option of Oshlun blades is a wonderful thing about capitalism, which usually is not so nice. While i might not use them on every job, 90% of the time they do a fine job and I see no difference (besides price) from the Festool blades. Recently I used a not new 48T Oshlun blade while ripping "Hardy Plank" I did a good 10 8 foot rips of the silica concrete board. I think the blade is toast, but even during the final rip it performed more than adaquately. I continue to be impressed and pleased with these blades. I'm lookin forward to see how they sharpen, just for kicks, I'ts probabaly cheaper to toss them, but my sharpening service does a great job, so it will be a worthwhile experiment.

Excellent value for Festool TS55 replacement
So I "ran over " a steel bench dog with my Festool blade... Boo hoo my bad. There goes $80. Lesson learned, I'll buy a replacement. Here's an alternative... Hmm $24 for a similar tooth blade? Why not give it a try? Well glad I did! Great cut in 12mm birch plywood. Nary a scratch on the edge and splinter free--just like the $80 Festool blade! Now to stay away from those bench dogs... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BLADE!

Good quality blade fits the Festool TS55 saw
I was searching for a cheap blade for my Makita battery saw when I found this one that fits the Festool. Turns out to be perfect for the job. Not only does the blade cut just fine, but I hooked up the cyclone dust collection / vacuum and didn't have to breathe cement dust. Cutting the fiber cement didn't really do anything bad to the saw like I thought it might. Good blade but even better if you have the stuff to suck up the dust.

Good blade
Actually a good blade for my festool TS55. I used this blade to ripcut 2 sides of a 120 foot dock. It went thru 240 feet of preasure treated 2x6's and is still sharp. It does need some cleaning after all that though. I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.

great for our PanelMax
The thinKerf of this blade was a perfect match for our PanelMax milling machine. we're getting about 600 cuts per blade through 1/2" cement board. Great blade for the price. none have lost teeth but will obviously wear down with an acceptable life span.
