Eddie Bauer - Queen Duvet Cover Set, Reversible Cotton Bedding with Matching Shams, Plaid Bedding Set with Button Closure (Woodland Tartan Green, Queen)

Cover is very well made—comments that it’s cheap are just bizarre. Similarly, I have two cats and so far I’m not seeing a hair on it—I used to have a soft green flannel cover that would get loaded, and I just don’t find this to be a pet hair magnet at all. Like many, I bought it expecting soft flannel, like the thinner, very soft green comforter cover I had in the past. I read the reviews about “scratchy” material and bought it anyway. It’s not scratchy, but it’s accurate to say that it’s indeed a bit heavier and stiffer, almost like a plaid rain jacket but not quite. I don’t dislike it at all, but I bought it for a down comforter. I found that impossible, since the material doesn’t breathe like a sheet—with raincoat material and a down comforter, I got far too overheated far too quickly to be comfortable, but it might be good to have if the power goes out in winter, which has happened to me before. I switched out the down for a lighter summer comforter inside and I’m liking it—in a cold January week. A nice change from summer bedding. I do have to find another for my down comforter now. I did wash it and I noticed that it somehow seemed lighter when I pulled it from the washer, when it should have been heavier. Seemed lighter after drying too. I imagine that multiple washes will break up whatever makes it stiff. I find it has a nice winter lodge feel to it, even if it’s not softer flannel. I like it.

The sheets are definitely thick maybe even a little stiff just a bit on the rough side but seems will hold up well with time and soften with washes.

This absolutely should not have to be washed over 6 times to become usable. It's so rough and itchy it's gross. The zipper is just okay and is sticky. The pattern is nice on both sides and that is the only positive.

I’ve bought Eddie Bauer flannel sheets in the past and been very pleased with them so I expected the same from this duvet cover. I was not disappointed . Just the right amount of softness without being flimsy. I specifically bought this for the reverse side which is pretty close to my family Tartan. Size is good, fabric is good. Was thrilled to find it less expensive here in Amazon than on the Eddie Bauer website!

This king comforter is nice looking but had to return it as the dimensions are much smaller than what they should be. The description showed a size comparable to my RL duvet cover, but in fact this cover is 4 inches too small on each side. I don't know why these companies cut corners to make something so small that it just won't work. They would be better off to spend a little more money on a little more fabric to actually make something work even if they had to charge more to the customer. This comforter barely covered the top of my mattress.

For the price I think the quality is okay. They are not made from the best fabric though.

Super nice. I love this. Looked great this Christmas and was comfy. I don't know what people are complaining about with this. I'll put it on several times over the year.

I love that it is lightweight and breathable because it is cotton.
