Really cool for jeans and outdoor pants, but you will probably want to shorten its length
Got it in color black and length medium to wear with my black jeans. Looks great! And its simple, elegant stainless steel double-D-ring buckle doesn't loosen until I manually loosen it.The belt's super heavy weight cotton fabric measures 1 1/4" wide x 1/8" thick. This material has a greater coefficient of friction than smooth nylon, so that explains why this belt/buckle system has such great locking function despite considerable applied tension. Honestly, at 6' height and 180 lb weight, I've never had to retighten it. However, I really don't have more than about 1" of abdominal fat to pinch near my navel. Thus, perhaps I'm exerting less belt tension than some of the reviewers who have reported the nuisance of having to frequently retighten it. After reading those critical reviews I'm also wondering if there are different production lots having different belt widths / thicknesses or different fabric materials. If either of those dimensions are reduced, or if a smooth synthetic fabric (with high lubricity) is substituted, then the frictional holding force of the system will be reduced. The length was several inches long for my 37" waist, so when I first received it I had to tuck the excess belting into a waist loop about 90 deg to my side. That didn't look right, so eventually I shortened its length. I cut off most of the conspicuously excessive belt length. In order to prevent the cut end of the belt from frazzling, I had to put in about 20 stitches of black carpet thread all along the 1 1/4" cut. That served to hold in place the many cotton fibers. I stitched it manually. But because the belt fabric is so thick I had to use a sewing machine needle held by a Vise Grip 4WR 4-Inch Curved Jaw Locking Pliers with Wire Cutter . In order to create a suitable workholding tool for the 1/16" dia shank of the needle, it was necessary to put into one of the Vise Grip jaws a tiny v-notch. So I used a small fine metalworking file to make that v-notch, which took only about 3 mins. The stitching took me much longer though.BTW, I'm a hands-on type engineer, in case you haven't already guessed :-)I'm currently ordering two more of these belts in Medium; one in khaki and another in olive green. Too bad they don't come in a size "Small", because that would've probably been about right for my waist. I have thus downgraded it from 5 stars to 4 stars.

Buckle bobble
Changing review because of good refund experience. I have purchased numerous similar belts with no problem. But here is the BAD and the GOOD of this belt. The BAD: 1) Buckle is slightly too small for the 1.25” belt causing it to sit at a big outward angle when buckled (SEE PIC). No amount of adjusting would help it sit normally—thus I ended up returning the belt. 2) Sizing is imprecise and they run long—I could have lived with that (Order option is Medium or Large, rather than in inches ). I ordered medium because my waist size is 32. The belt, exclusive of the buckle, was 46.5 inches. The GOOD: Material quality is fine at this low price. The KHAKI color was true to what I expected khaki to be—unlike a khaki belt ordered from different seller. The return went smoothly and was for full price, without a restocking fee that I saw after the fact in their return policy

Excellent value
Unlike several other D-ring belts I've bought, this one actually is 1 1/2 inches wide, so it fits the average belt loop. Quality construction throughout, at a very reasonable price. I just ordered two more.

Durable, Comfortable, Easy to Use and Always Fits!
I have purchased this belt twice and I am buying it again now. All Belts that I have ever owned wear down over time. The holes stretch in leather belts, and eventually they wear and become tattered. This is no exception to the tattering. However, you NEVER have to make new belt holes if you lose weight, or if you have a somewhat weird sized waist and need a hole in between two holes. All of that nonsense doesn't even happen. This fits perfectly every time and is a cinch to loosen if you're like me and can't sit comfortable with a tight belt. Just pull it a little, when you stand up pull it again. there's no fiddling, just pull. I really have no complaints. for less then the price of a burger at McDonalds, you get a belt that lasts over a year. the first belt I purchased was on October 24, 2012 According to Amazon. The second was February 20, 2014 and Today is April 13, 2015. And I wear this almost every day, all day. How can you go wrong? Plus once its tattered it becomes a great strap that you can use to hold anything to anything pretty much. Its perfect. If you're looking for something beautiful, ornate, elegant or fancy. Look for something that costs money. This is for USE not LOOKING FANCY. Not to say its ugly but its not like you'll want to wear this with dress pants; although I have been known to do this XD

Cool Belts
I bought 1 of these belts in one color and after a week of having it I bought the 2 other colors. These are great d-ring style belts. For a little over 5 bucks each you can't beat them. They look great with khakis and cargo pants. They are very comfortable. Now as others have said watch the sizing. I read all of the reviews before I ordered so I knew what sizing I would get. They are only available in Medium and Large. I am a 36 inch waist and ordinarily would order a Large belt. In this case I ordered the Medium and it was perfect. As others have said the Large is apparently gigantic. So here is my friendly warning: If you are below a 38 to 40 inch waist(maybe even larger), get the Medium. This Medium measures about 47.5 including the buckle or 46.5 without the buckle which a full inch longer than all of my Large Dockers belts.Only slight con is that they can loosen every so slightly over the time you are wearing it but not much. Not a big deal for me, I just cinch it up again and I am good to go. But some might want to know this. You can't go wrong with this belt. Great value and great styling.
