Built like a tank
Solid... built like a tank, which is really important to a big guy like me. Goes together very fast. Simple. If you are bent on doing workouts and a tour on-screen, that capability is here (I'm not... I watch movies on my widescreen instead). Most importantly it is dead-quiet and rides like a dream. The magnetic load system is very consistent and easy to use. I can't think of any downers ... except... could they make one that will do my exercise for me so I don't have to take the time and break a sweat? Probably not. Stop right here for the next best to that option. Build... value for $... workout quality... adjustments... and definitely the noise level (more or less dead silent)... are all first cabin. I have never liked indoor exercise bikes but this piece is a gem.

Great quality & fun to ride!
So I am a busy working mom and I was working out at a gym and with a personal trainer but the scheduling was just not working. I decided on a bike back in the fall and spent about 5 months researching. I was going to get the peloton but at the last minute decided on the Schwinn. It was really bugging me that I’d be tied up with only peloton content and have to pay a costly monthly fee. I was also looking at even cheaper bikes but i wanted to stick with a good brand name, and I love that it has the monitor so my husband - who doesn’t care about classes - can just hop on and ride and see his metrics without additional screens, etc. Over a week in and I am so happy with my choice! I was going to use the peloton app or apple fitness, but it turns out there’s tons of great cycle classes on YouTube for free! No need to spend extra at this point. I can also use my regular sneakers so that’s a huge plus for me too! As far as delivery and assembly - I had it delivered the next day after I ordered. It was a huge heavy box but I was able to slide it into my garage and take everything out. I carried it in pieces to my basement and put it together with the help of a YouTube video in about an hour and a half. Mind you, I’m a 5’3” 113 lb woman. I did it all by myself. Yes it was heavy and awkward to carry myself, but I did it. It went together mostly easy, but the biggest issue was some of the smaller screws didn’t want to go in on the monitor. After messing with them for a bit I got them in. Once I got it all set up I tested it out. It is so smooth and a quiet ride. When my husband got back in town and saw it he noted how good it looks and he can tell it’s good quality. So far, I love it!

Cost
Easy assembly great value and quality does what it’s intended to do. The only issue was the seat it’s very uncomfortable so we replaced it.

Fits better for tall people
This is definitely a heavy duty bike. It is extremely durable due to its simplicity. There are very few moving parts. And most of the bike is made of heavy guage steel. I have never had to fix anything on this bike and I have had this bike for almost 10yrs. Just occasional silicon lub for the wheel. Now for the shortcomings. Its actually too big. At least it is for the lack of adjustability. It does have a large footprint which isn't necessarily a bad thing but due to its size, the bike is greatly lacking on adjustability regarding the handle bars and the seat. If you are under 5'5" forget this bike. I am 6'. My wife is 5'3". As it stands, this bike is too big for my wife. Almost too big for me actually. It would be usable for my wife had they done a better job in designing more adjustability with the seat, fore and aft. Same with the handlebars. As it stands, both the seat and handlebars move less than 3, maybe 4". If you know bike geometry, you will know that is not nearly enough. I love this bike but my wife has finally had it, and now I am shopping for a new one. One that has more adjustability for shorter people.

Well worth the investment, user friendly, easy and challenging all in one
WOW! let me start with I would have given this a 4 1/2 stars but...wanted to let you know this is a 5 star bike! My reason for 4 1/2 stars...the power attachment is on the lower left of bike is on the floor.. I have this in my garage and tripped over the power cord several times...So I used zip ties-re routed power to below seat and then used a one plug extension cord to plug in on garage ceiling...Now the bike.. I had a felt resistance bike for 5 years and that felt wore out and I decided I wanted to upgrade. So I researched and thought "Pelton" and other bikes with "attached"screens, However most bikes stated "warranty void if used in garage/or outside" as I would understand because the delicate screen..I also determined IF I had a screen issue in the future I would have a useless bike...and I also determined those bike with attached screens can ONLY be used with THEIR purchased apps... I began an in-depth research into this bike and learned you CAN access "Pelton" (I know spelled incorrect) app at a reduced price than if you bought their bike! I think 12 buck or so compared to their 39 bucks..I also learned there are several other apps that this bike can access and run...(via bluetooth with a tablet..ipad) I had an ipad and thought the delicate screen-the ipad- can be removed when not in use. and I didn't like the idea of "being locked" in to only 1 app-Pelton- only...I didn't think I would like a person "motivating" me along the way...so after weeks of thought I bought this bike.. I assembled it..pretty easy...I tried it out and it was on level "30" initially after assemble. I thought to myself "oh boy...no resistance..this is too easy.. I may have made a mistake" Remember I had a felt resistance bike prior with no readout so I did not know that "level" of resistance... So I increased the resistance and was very happy to see this went up to 100......I of course set this to level 55 and went to town....that was brutal after 20 minutes! I ride 20 miles or more on my street bike in the summer 10 days a month, I rode my felt resistance bike for 5 years 15 times a month-sometimes less- so I'm not "out of shape" thinking this was hard at level 55....so I got my ipad out went to utube and found some concerts I wanted to watch...connected my ipad to my stereo and jammed out! I have not tried any "apps" yet..but will this fall when I'm concert out..most all apps have a free trial....What I like about this bike is the looks, the sturdy feel, the spot of a tablet, the fact it is magnetic resistance......what a difference from felt resistance...the magnetic resistance is constant and consistent...I like the read out info.. I like it came with a heart monitor...that sort of took some googling to see how to connect..you start the bike in awake mode...press the bluetooth button on the bike computer and then press and hold the heart monitor button several seconds until it flash's pink..then start pedaling the bike..the heart flash's and your connected! then press and hold to shut off monitor when finished. Many reviewers stated the pedal becomes loose and starts to "click" I bought a small tube of loctite at the car parts store and assembled the pedals with that on the threads and had no issues..I bought this bike In april 2021 and I have rode 15-20 miles 3 times a week and it is still fun! I have no issues or concerns! It comes with attachments for "cleats"? shoes... I used the cage wraps....I ride in my slippers....attached garage. the only other issue....while the handle bar is shaped nice and has a weird flat spot for you hands/which you will love..is I am gong to get padded bike gloves..the handle bar is the same consistency of a sprayed in truck liner...not bad, but adding foam or bike gloves will make it perfect. And...my felt resistant bike was chain driven...I thought that was quiet..this is belt driven....it is silent... although as you can see in my pics/vid that the noise level of this bike didn't matter to me. I know there is no "one size fits all" but this met all my expectations and is a great workout for me.

Excellent bike.
The bike is solid and smooth. Assembly was simple. Great range of resistance that is easily fine tuned. Very satisfied.

Defective bike and poor support experience
This didn't work out of the box due to a reed sensor issue (the sensor that detects if you are pedaling). Trying to get support has been a pain on top of it all to the point I gave up and just ordered a reed sensor elsewhere to install and troubleshoot myself. Really disappointing for what appears to be a common problem and the hassle that is trying to get help for it. If it weren't a large difficult to return item I would have returned it. I've seen and used the IC4 and loved it but didn't need all the features and thought the IC3.5 would be a better mix of what I wanted without spending extra money on features I wouldn't use. I regret not getting the IC4 instead. One thing of note I wasn't aware of as a difference between the IC4 and the IC3.5: on the IC4 the resistance is a physical knob control so you can adjust it even if the power is out or your sensors/computer on the device are not working. On the IC3.5 it is electronic. This is a difference that would have made me choose the IC4 if I had been aware and may also be important to other consumers. Despite this being defective as delivered, I will say they have made changes to the IC3.5 that have made dealing with reed sensor errors easier: on this model there is a small part of the belt case that can be removed to access the reed sensor (you will want a low profile offset screw for loosening the sensor). You can also carefully unscrew the belt case and carefully wiggle it up and out of the way without removing a pedal which is useful for better access to the sensor (I needed this to reach it with a non-low profile offset screwdriver when trying to adjust the distance between sensor and magnet). It's clear maintenance and repairability were a driving consideration in the design and I appreciate how accessible everything. Especially since the quality of support means having to repair it myself.

A good home bike
When my more expensive brand name bike crapped out on me, I decided to halve the replacement budget and bought this instead. What do you know: This does just about everything I need a home exercise bike to do as long as I put a tablet on the front and just watch tv. Works good, lots of resistance settings, easy to set up and cheaper than some competition. I did have to swap the seat though.
