Do not know for sure and do not want to find out for certain but it appears to provide higher order head protection while also having multiple inserts to customize the fit. Good non slipping chin strap. Fit for larger heads is problematic, seems to be "oriental limited" rather than having a size for full size adult males. Having a fair amount of experience and hard won observations and opinions regarding motor vehicle & racing safety gear I very much prefer a relatively tight fit for any sort of impact reduction helmets (If you can't joke about what you're using being able to give a squirrel a headache you're using something TOO LOOSE), this provides such a tight fit for me but the largest size (the one which I purchased) is going to be too small for many over about U.S. size 7-1/2 to 7-3/4.

this helmet made my head look HUGE (i got a pretty big head but yeah) and might look a little silly when you first wear it... but honestly it works super well for me biking around the city in austin. I didn't really need anything too fancy, and i like that it has the adjustable foam paddings to change between sizes/comfort, etc. i got the plain white one so i could add stickers to it :+) pretty good deal for how much this one is compared to other helmets I've seen. i put it in my backpack if im going somewhere that i don't need to be wearing my helmet in and it isn't that heavy at all.

I love it, the only reason I am not giving five stars is because that a signature is required upon delivery, and with what is going on they could not leave the package with the front office or a neighbor, so UPS left my package at an access point several miles away from my home. When I contacted them all they would tell me is that this is what the seller requested. After I talked them in to delivering it to my home almost a week later, I must say I really enjoy the product. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable and the price was very reasonable. Thank you

Simple and Classic Helmet for skateboarding or riding a bike. Sturdy and solid with ease clasp.

I recently started riding a beach cruiser every day around my town and this actually the first bicycle helmet I've ever purchased so I didn't have any expectations. I ordered a L as I have a giant head and by swapping around the included liner pieces I was able to get a perfect fit. The helmet itself is light and comfortable, the vents allow plenty of airflow. I don't think it is the smallest solution, but it is light and comfortable and a god value for the $.

It’s light, comfy and budget friendly. I don’t think I would want to bomb any hills with this but it’s perfectly fine for cruising around town.

I chose this helmet for the way it looks but later I realized that other helmets have more protection on the inside. I got a white helmet and now it has a lot of black scratches that I can't clean out.
