I used this to cover a hole in the shoulder of my leather motorcycle race suit. I'm certain that in a crash this would not provide much structural help to the leather. It does cover up the hole though and it is holding on really tightly. I'm surprised at just how well if is staying put. Update, After a couple more crashes since putting this on a hole in the should of my race suit I can truly say I am amazed. I've had a couple of mishaps on the track where I have had abrasion directly to the should where I placed this patch. Amazingly, it's still where I put it and has held up to the abrasion as well as the original leather! I am so impressed I bought another one for the other side which now has a hole in the leather also.

This is a fabulous product and I am very pleased with my purchase. My couch was a gift for my late husband and I was disappointed to see an area on the armrest had become worn and unsightly. This repair kit fixed the area easily and beautifully. My history with do-it-yourself repairs is spotty at best, so I was hesitant to try something that required my input. But the patch was the perfect solution and, better still, easy to apply. You can see from the before-and-after attached photos that the couch now looks great!

I am using this patch on the inside of a baseball glove to cover a tear and abrasion. So far it has worked great and the adhesion is much better than expected considering the surface it's covering isn't smooth (it's worn and fabric-like). If you're using on a smooth surface, I'm sure this would work exceptionally. I'll definitely be purchasing more when the need arises!

I used these to cover a splitting leather seam on my Miata seats. I tried carefully cleaning the leather with alcohol, doing my best to remove any leather dressing products that had built up over the years, to make sure the adhesive sticked. It didn't work out so well as after a few weeks the adhesive failed and the patch started to peel. While the patch is a novel style, aesthetically appealing and the quality seems ok, the poor adhesion and high price for a small patch were a disappointment.

I used it to patch up cracks and holes on my shearling jacket and it works well, namely that it doesn't peel off. The biggest problem I have is the price. I would love to give it 5 stars but $15 for a 2 inch piece is really, really steep. And all the other sizes are more or less the same price. This is not leather, people, so why would it be so expensive.

I purchased this product because I had two small tears on the seat of my office chair. The tears would poke me behind my leg when wearing shorts, so I was considering purchasing a new chair. I saw this product and decided to purchase one to see how it worked out. It did the job so well on the first tear that I purchased a second one for the other tear. The material is very soft and smooth; it feels very comfortable to the skin. Note the adhesive on the back of the product is not very strong, so I purchased a Tear Mender product which I saw on other reviews. This combination worked perfectly. Very satisfied with this product.

Used it on my car seat. Worked perfectly all winter. As soon as summer came around the adhesive melted, and it fell off. It left behind a sticky mess that got on my pants every time I got in the car for a month.

Lo compre el 19 de abril y por el momento muy contento. Lo recomiendo 100% Lo he usado para el asiento de la moto. Esta todo el dia en la calle y de momento con el calor que hace. No se ha despegado. Espero que siga asi. Si sigue cumpliendo su funcion como hasta ahora, es un producto 5 estrellas.

Es un buen producto por su acabado de cuero, el adhesivo que trae el parche, pega bien. yo lo usé para asiento moto 50cc,el color es muy parecido y de primeras fue bien... Pero una vez que empecé a usarlo... Se cuarteo de la lluvia y demás. Y del roce de sentarme se fue levantando una esquina. Me apañó una temporada, unos meses...
