It’s difficult to find water bottles that don’t have any plastic coming in contact with the contents of the bottle. Because we use this for hot and cold liquids and soups even, I didn’t want any plastic exposure. The inside of the lid is stainless steel and a silicone gasket. Hooray! They are reasonably insulating. Hot substances are still pretty warm after a few hours. Not piping hot as when originally poured in, but decent enough. It does a better job with cold. Aside from that, the lid handle is wide, making it comfortable to grab and twist. The aesthetics of the bottle was a huge draw for my kids. They are thankful I’m not forcing them to bring geeky looking water bottles to school anymore.

It is very cool. Keep cold water cold as it described. I used it from morning till evening. It is still cold. I did not use it on hot stuff yet. I gave this bottle (I got it for my wife) a 4-star because the seal does not work 100% well. You have to tighten it hard otherwise it will leak. I took the seal out and put it back in, and pushed the tilted edge (about a inch) slowly down. It seemed working. I'll test on hot water or tea sometime later. Update on 3/2/17. This Red Bottle still leaks. I still believe it is the seal. I'll look into it again see if I can fix it. The Black one I bought for myself works fine. Update on 4/1/2017: OMG I could not believe what I received in my mail. I thought it was something I expected from other vendors that should have arrived a few days ago. I got a Flip N Sip stein lid as a replacement and as a special gift as it says for my wife's bottle. I put it on and it does not leak at all even I loose it a little bit. I am very happy with the Healthy Human company and it stands behind its products. I would give it 6-stars if there is. I would keep buying its products, I would buy its stock if this company is a public company. I believe this is the company will win the customers and the market place eventually. I have had the bottle for 3 years and 9 months and used it almost daily, even when I was working from home fulltime. That translates into a little over 1 cent a day. It's a hard-working bottle and worth the money. The good: With a two-inch wide opening, it is the perfect size to drink water from. As long as I remember to screw the lid tight, the bottle is leak-proof. What I love most about it is the bottle keeps ice water cool. To clean the inside of the bottle I purchased an OXO Bottle Brush and it works very well. Now the flaw. I agree with the complaints about how hard it is to clean the lid. After trying various tools and cleaning liquid I gave up and decided it was time to get a new bottle. I wish the screw-on lid were available for sale alone (I don't need the straw-version, which is available for sale alone). Then I would have been able to keep using the bottle. Seeing none available, I have ordered another brand, with a different design for the screw-on lid that does not have such deep impossible-to-reach crevice. Will see how it goes.

This water bottle really keeps ice cubes and water cold is 90+ degree weather. It is not as heavy as some.

Bought this Healthy Human water bottle to use on a 1960 Schwinn Continental. It's a great bottle for the price, has a superb finish, it's well made, and best of all it looks good on the bike. Functionally, a bottle is a bottle, but a well made bottle like this is a pleasure to have. Even added a reproduction head badge for personality.

Best container to keep your liquids cool. I live in a hot area and during the summer these containers by far keep my water, etc.. cold, even if left in the heat for a period of time.

Love healthy human. I have many. This size is small and stubby - will go back to buying regular size since i didn’t need it to be small.

It looks good and nice but it’s leaking. Every time I use this bottle I get something destroyed.

Funziona davvero bene! Mio figlio prende il treno molto presto, stanca di alzarmi ho deciso di lasciargli la colazione già pronta nel termos. Basta avere l'accortezza di preriscaldarlo con dell'acqua bollente e il liquido arriva alla mattina dopo caldo!

Das war die Flasche für unseren Sohn für die Schule. Wir hatten schon eine HH in Gebrauch und wissen um die Vorteile. Eine dünne wand und trotzdem bleibt das Wasser trotz liegen in der Sonne erfrischen kühl. Auch Tee bleibt sehr lange sehr heiß. Einfach toll :)

Love this bottle. Wide opening makes it easy to clean and also to add ice cubes. Very easy to carry with the handle. Helps when you have your hands full with other items. A few ice cubes added to my water and it stays cold at work, even for 10 and 12 hour shifts. The company has great customer service. Like another customer, I couldn't find the Flip N Sip Lid in Canada. They were very helpful in getting me the lid. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bottle or this company.

I really like the look of this bottle. It is the perfect size for travel, and the carabiner is easy to clip onto a purse. It was nice walking around in this crazy hot summer but having a nice supply of ice cold water. Constantly forgetting that I had it on my bag, I kept bashing it into things, and there isn't a single dent. Safe to say that this is a pretty durable product!
