Absolutely love the case
Absolutely love the case. The metallic blue color really stands out and grabs attention. The supplied Pick 'N' Pluck foam block was a perfect fit, easy to tear/form as we need it. I used this set for a Nady wireless system that I purchased online and it worked great. Seems very sturdy and offers great protection.

Acoustic Foam used for Guitar pedal board
Great product. This foam was perfect for protectingelectronics. It is soft enough to not damage the pedals. It also could be super glued to the carrier to stay in place. It did harden in the areas of the glue but not bad overall.

Not as advertised.
Even after steaming, the foam is only 1" thick, base to peaks. Very disappointed, and lost valuable time on a project. Annoying.

Exactly what I wanted
I bought a used, lockable, hard case that was the perfect size for my gig song binder, a surface computer, and all the picks and capos I need for a variety of instruments. Problem was that even with all those items, they would slide around. Got this, cut it in two, trimmed just a little, and set one piece in the top and another in the bottom without any glue. Working just fine.

This is packing foam and not true acoustic foam
Although this product is listed as acoustic foam it is little more than packing foam and is not effective at damping the reverberation from the TV's speaker. However, you get what you pay for. I recommend that any potential buyer look to real acoustic dampening foam if you are serious about steming the noise.

I can hear clearly now the baffles installed
I Purchased this product to make a homemade inline sound baffle for an inline cyclone exhaust fan, air exhaust system. It worked perfect for inserting into an 8" round duct from Home Depot, and with two 8"to 6" reducers for ends, and some clear caulk and your done.

Dampens Sound Well
Its not any different from egg crate foam. It doesnt need to be. I bought this for my customer home surround sound system. Works great for my design.

Not as pictured or advertised
The foam does not look like the picture which shows exaggerated peaks -- it is regular (open cell) egg crate foam.Further, it is not 1-1/2 inches thick as advertised. Even after resting, it is less than an inch thick. Length/width dimensions are a little under spec, but approximately correct within a 1/4". Seller response re. description vs. actual: "initiate a return."If you are comfortable with theses actual specs, then it is a good buy; if you are looking for something that meets the advertised specs, move on.
