I like that when I remove the canister from the stove, a valve in the canister shuts off the gas until the canister is attached again to the stove. It's the first time I have used this newer kind of canister. The old type that I used to use, would puncher the seal on the canister and you would have to leave it attached to the stove until all of the gas had been used.

I like the small size doesn’t take up very much space in your backpack

This fuel is great. It worked great for me on my backpacking trip in the mid-50s. It ignited without issue and was easy to transport. My only complaint is the price. Normally a 110g isobutane fuel can runs around $7 in a store. Next time I will buy my fuel can from the store. If there is no outdoors store near you these will work fine, just be aware of the price premium.

I bought two and after 5 days out on the Appalachian trail still hadn’t touched the second one. Easily powers my stove and they are very lite. A couple ounces each.

Grandson loves to fish and got a propane cooker; these run it!

These butane canisters can be refilled using tall 8 oz (227 gram) butane canisters. I'm using them with butane lamps.
