Traxxas 77086-4 - X-Maxx: Brushless Electric Monster Truck - RED

WOW!!! Wrote a review on the 2nd. X-MAX I bought (Green) ...Yes, pay another $1000.00 for STUPID FUN!!! This is a follow up... Pros: DURABLE, BAD ASS, OPEN A CAN OF WHOOP A#$@ FUN worth every penny!!!... Cons.: The Pinion Gear will become detached at some point. This is the only flaw I have found... EASY FIX... (See YOUTUBE) These trucks do what no normal cars could NEVER do!. This is the only mechanical part to be concerned with, everything else is self contained. GET THE WARRANTY!, in case of major contained failures. Reinforce the body shell see (YOUTUBE). I avoided TRAXXAS due to price. I returned my other WARRANTEED trucks and spent the money on TRAXXAS X-MAX.. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SOOOO HAPPY!!! As Bevis and Butthead would say "HA HA DUH HA HA HUH!!!! ...GOOD DEALER!!! UPDATE! You can break these things!! S%^*%*$ happens, OOOPPPSY!!!. Buy the Heavy Duty A-ARMS front and back, wheel bearing housing upgrade (RPM) , aluminum Toe Arms. Going to install aluminum steering bell crank... Broke my bell crank plastic vs aluminum toe arm. to plastic attachment. (Hobby Lobby shop guy told me plastic to aluminum is bad...I agree!).. Will let U know how bell crank goes! TRAXXAS X-MAX .. GET-R-DONE!!!

This truck is amazingly powerful and good looking. I have been playing with it since January and so far, it is still in one piece. You won't believe the kind of shocks it survived! It jumped, hit electric pole, concrete wall, and still working fine. Without any modification, I got a good speed with it, and the sound it made on asphalt is like a true truck. Its parts are pretty cheap also compare to other makes and models.

Perfect exactly what I wanted

This is the worst truck ever. Spur and pinion broke first day. Took to shop to get fixed came back broke in 5 minutes again. Went and bought parts again worked for like 20 mins and now is showing critical error. For the price this is really bad

This is my second Xmaxx and the first one that I had a few years ago had no issues in over a year of bashing. Now I got another Xmaxx from a major RC online store and the stock steering servo died in about two weeks. So I upgraded to the 2085X servo and it also fried in about a month. Traxxas has really disappointed me and I'm done wasting money on junk.

I received my fist one and the package was completely saturated in the suspension oil. Continued to leak oil ruining some carpet. Refund was swiftly approved. Hopefully the next one I buy will not have this defect.

Too expensive!!! but fun

Livraison rapide mais gros soucis avec les inserts en mousse dans les pneus. Connaissant le problème, j'ai pris soin de ne pas rouler dans l'eau et pas faire tourner les roues dans le vide inutilement mais rien à faire, je suis tombé sur une série de mousses douteuses et au bout d'1 mois elles sont inutilisables. Dommage car ce XMAXX est une référence, c'est un gros monstre mais très agile. Un gros plaisir à piloter! J'aurais quand même aimer que l'on me renvoie 4 roues.

So ein echt geiles Teil nur für den Preis sollten aber auch Akkus und Ladegerät bei sein da bin ich etwas enttäuscht
