1993 Returns!!
The Legacy Dragonzord is a remake of the Original Dragonzord toy from 1993. This figure is highly detailed with scoped on details that were originally decals from the original toy. The overall proportions and look is much closer to the show. As with other Legacy toys, it features metallic paint and die cast metal parts. For the Dragonzord, the feet, crotch region and outer shoulder armor are made of die cast metal. The die cast gives the figure some nice weight to it and high quality feel. There is also some decent articulation in the legs and arms. But one of the main reasons to buy this toy, is the articulated tail. It is very fun and gives a great resemblance to the tail from the show. 5 ball joints allow for great movement and allows you to replicate tail poses from the show. The Dragonzord also comes with interchangeable hands, including the traditional finger missile robot hands used for combination with the Megazord and bended hands for Dragonzord on it's own when fighting. On it's own the only flaw I have with the Dragonzord is it's head fin. When I got it out of the box, it was bent, which is a common problem for most buyers of this toy. I wished Bandai America used hard plastic or die cast metal for it, I don't understand why they used soft plastic. The Battle Mode and Mega Dragonzord forms with the Megazord are very bad. Due to the die cast metal feet from the Dragonzord, both combinations suffer from top/front heaviness that can make the figure come apart within a few movements. These combinations should be used for display only and not for play. In this case, the Original combinations are superior. I think the Legacy Dragonzord is worth buying. While it is expensive, you do get your money's worth. Personally I think the figure is best on it's own rather than with the combinations. The figure is definitely superior than the 93 version, as the only thing that the 93 had over this, was the light up chest. Otherwise this figure wins by miles. Buy it now before it gets even more expensive, once they stop production later this year, this toy is going to sky rocket to $200 and up.

The Dream Zord For All Of You Old School Green Ranger Fans
A Must have for any Power Rangers fan (or even Super Sentai) to add to their collection. To start it has molded in show accurate details with no random thunder bolts and you don't have to worry about any stickers for those that don't like applying them. It is Zord Builder compatible (mostly because it has to combine with the Legacy Dino Megazord) so it can work with any mega zord made in 2010 and onward. The articulation is top notch, better then any other Megazord before hand with a ball jointed tail, posible arms that have a great rang of motion for tiny Dragon arms, and nice leg articulation that keeps it standing sturdy. It also has a nice use of die-cast in the bottom of it's feet, waist, and the giant golden dragon crest. It does combine with the 2012 Legacy Dino Megazord like the original 1993 toys, so if you got the other legacy Megazord then this is the perfect companion to it, but if you don't it is still A nice Zord on it's own for any of those Green Ranger fans out there.

Amazing Collector's Item For Power Rangers Fans
I've been waiting for this Legacy Dragonzord to be released for a few years, believe it or not. This matches with the Legacy Megazord released in 2010 and also the die-cast version from 2013. I will get into that a little bit more in depth later. This version of the Dragonzord is extremely show accurate. For those super sentai fans that watched Zyuranger, there is finally a US version of this that is show accurate. The original toy had a lot of stickers and thunderbolts instead of the proper logos. This toy is much better looking in that regard - there isn't a single sticker to apply and the stickers match up with the Dragonzord from the stock footage. Unlike the original release, this version features no lights and sounds. I admit, I'm a sucker for lights and sounds, but the sacrifice was well worth it since we are getting a far superior mold. A huge improvement in this toy is the articulation in the tail. There are joints throughout the tail and the tail can be put in some great poses. It's very impressive. The mouth moves a bit. There are also two sets of hands - one in a slightly open grip and the other set in the straight fingered pose that is seen firing missiles. These toys don't really have all too much as far as articulation goes, but it's a huge improvement from the original version. The Dragonzord can combine with the Megazord to form either the Dragonzord in Battle Mode/Gouryuujin or the Mega Dragonzord/Zyutei Daizyujin. This is actually one of my main complaints with this toy, which I can't really complain too much about. It has got some weight to it, being die cast. If combining with a Megazord from 2010, the plastic release, the weight makes the toy really top heavy in either mode and prone to tipping over. The weight problem wasn't as much of an issue when using the die cast Megazord from 2013. I can't really say this is too much of a complaint (how can you really complain about a toy having a solid quality construction?). As with all the other toys released in the past few years, this toy also features the zord builder system, which means parts can be mixed and matched from other sets, but since this toy weighs so much more than all plastic toys, be mindful that other combinations might end up very top heavy as well. I'm very happy and impressed with this toy - I never got a chance to own a working original. I managed to get my hands on a broken one a few years ago and it kind of ruined my childhood memories of how cool it was. If I had this as a kid though, I would have loved it and the memory wouldn't have been tarnished the same way. This is a great piece for any collector and because of the quality construction, shouldn't have any issue actually being played with. If you haven't bought one of these yet, don't wait, get one while you still can!

This item is perfect for a PR fan and collector. Its not cheaply made, its heavy, and it looks show accurate. Features heavy diecast parts which is great but when placed on top of the megazors it is way to heavy and causes the Megazors to lean, when slotting in the megazors head it can chip the face paint so i recommend keeping them seperated for display. Features diecast parts, and thick plastic. Overall Pricey but worth it in the long run as it will only go up in price when its sold out.
