I bought this rug to spruce up a secondhand bungee-style office chair, conceal a rust spot, and give a softer look to a desk setup in a guest bedroom. This rug completed the assignment: it’s oh so soft, looks great, and is machine washable (though I haven’t washed it yet). It arrived compressed in hermetically sealed packaging, but only needed a gentle shake to fluff up into cozy chicness. The only thing is, I accidentally ordered the 2x3 instead of the 2x4. Although the chair is made for smaller frames, the rug doesn’t drape completely over it. But since I purchased it on sale, I decided not to exchange it because the larger size was out of my budget. So, I just tucked the narrow end behind a back cushion of the same color. There wasn’t enough fabric to cover the back of the chair, but there was enough to cover the seat and leave a couple of inches draping off the edge. Arranged this way, it still looks good, imo.

This is hands down my favorite rug that I own— and I have several. Light weight enough to tote with ease although heavy enough that it gives quality and doesn’t slide around. It lays perfectly flat once unpackaged and is durable. I have put this in the washing machine numerous times, let it air dry and it comes out looking brand new. At initial unpacking there was no smell, and it was so soft! It functions as the most beautiful accent to the front of my fire place. I will order a second.

I've always wanted one of these so I finally bought it. I use it beside my bed, so I don't touch the cold floor with my feet. It's soft, the quality is good. It's just not as fluffy as it looks in the picture. It stays in place, it comes with double sided stickers to really hold it in place. No smell and it doesn't shed.

Using it as a cover and kitty spot on couch. At first they did not go near it when I set it down to let them try it for a minute. I realized it had the factory smell, nothing bad, just not the home wash and softener smell. So I washed as I normally wash all new products in hand wash setting of machine and dried on low. It came out great! All three kitties love it, taking turns sleeping on it, and it looks beautiful!!

Love it. Looks feels and has the warmth of the real thing. I cut it and used weatherstrip adhesive to secure it to some floor mats I made for my Jaguar xj. All jags need sheepskin rugs. High quality, just enough material!

As others have pointed out, the “rug” is thin to where it barely fits the description of “rug,” more like a piece of fabric. Mine is on a concrete floor next to my bed. I was focused on making sure it wouldn’t slip and chose a grippy rug pad. Wish I had gone with a thicker type of pad, I think I’d be happier. That would also add to the cost. Looks nice enough and it beats my feet hitting the cold floor first thing in the morning. I haven’t cleaned mine yet, hopefully a good shake and an occasional laundering will suffice, I don’t think I could vacuum this. Not sure I would buy again, I’d definitely look for a thicker and heavier alternative first.

I returned this, it felt for cheap and not soft and plush, quite hard to touch and thin.
