The best base sauce I have ever used for making my own sauce Great Base

A local restaurant uses this as their smoky BBQ with no changes and I've been searching for it for years. It's perfect as is without adding other ingredients, has a tangy taste. Favorite BBQ sauce of all time.

I got smokey base. I intended the regular base. And, what was that experiment? I bought granulated citric acid to tang it up. And some ALLULOSE silky creamy and dreamy good-for-you sugar to sweeten it up. I saved my HUNTS SUPER THICK NATURAL CATSUP squeeze bottles and refilled one that way. This is half as thick by the way. Just short of runny. If you add any liquid white vinegar at all - you got runny. So the crystals are the way to go and guess what, Gus? It's flat out transformative. It LIFTS the spirit right up out the bushes and into my mouth. MMM mmm. Know what I mean? You got to try some of this!

I used to get this at my butcher but they don't carry it any longer. Really good sauce on its own, but allows me to create my custom sauce without all the extra work. I know a few commercial chefs that use this as their bbq sauce base.
