Amazon ran out of stock of their large bottles of avocado oil, and I also was out of avacado oil, and it's so crazy expensive if I buy it in town that I can't justify it... I came across this one by BetterBody Foods and bought it since it was so reasonably priced. The avocado oil arrived sealed and well packaged, perfect condition. It was easy to open and seems like a good avocado oil. It is a very neutral oil, as hoped and expected, so, it's tasteless and has so smell. Definitely not rancid. I make my own mayonnaise, I don't trust canola oil and the avocado mayo available at the stores is near a dollar an ounce where I live. So, that's my main purpose for the avocado oil, and this oil made up into such a nice texture. It was incredibly smooth and spreadable and had a great thick consistency..the difference in the end product was so notable that even my boyfriend said something, completely unsolicited, about how particularly creamy and perfect it came out. Which says a lot, lol. Very happy would recommend, probably gonna put this on my subscribe and save for now, the Amazon one was fine and I liked it. But the noticeable improvement in texture, when the previous one totally had a fine texture already, to this surprise mention of praise from a guy who considers "edible" the only general requirement for food. I mean, that says something, lol.

Great tasting cooking oil.

We have stopped using unhealthy seed oils completely and tried this brand. Wow, I'm impressed! I make our own egg-free mayonnaise, this oil is so much better than the corn and canola we were using! It has no smell, a pleasant taste and a rich and smooth mouthfeel, perfect for mayo. Other oils are thinner and would "break" often. This oil has an incredibly high smoke point and is very healthy- the fruit oils: coconut, olive and avocado are the only ones we use now. The bottle is a good size; the price is reasonable. We've ordered it three times and have had no problems with leakage as other reviewers have had. One more thing: some reviewers have noted cloudiness; I live in a drafty 100-year-old house and this oil and olive oil will become cloudy when the temperature dips. The oil is fine.

this is value for money -- no smell just oil , does not leave any aroma when cooking.. the only issue i have is --its not in glass bottle yet its said its glass. for that reason 4/5 it is. but happy with the contents . best buy

After doing extensive research on cooking oils, I have found that avocado oil and olive oil are the healthiest options available for cooking. Avocado oil has a lower heating point than more common seed oils (canola oil, vegetable oil, etc…) so you have to be cognizant of the temperature at which you are cooking. This avocado oil tastes wonderful and you get a great value for your money.

I bought this because it is a good price for how much you're getting. I like that it comes in a big bottle because it lasts a long time. I bought a spray/pour bottle to transfer it into and I use this as a refill. The taste is light/neutral which is how avocado oil should be. It was great because it didn't leak in transit either. The only ingredient is avocado oil so that is good. I like this oil and avocado oil because it has a higher smoke point so I don't set of the smoke alarm in my apartment. It's great for sautéing or grilling food in a pan for example. Overall great product!
