I for these for my grandma too help her sleep at night plus there was so many in the bag so i don't have to replenish so often plus the taste is not bad. Hoping she can get more natural relief

I don't sleep well. I average about 3 hours a night of broken up sleep. I can't take prescriptions because they make me do weird things. I started at 5 mg of melatonin and my body laughed at me while I lay awake. Then 10, 15, 20mg. All brands. I take 2 of these and I'll get about 6 hours. For me, that's a win. That's a HUGE amount of sleep for me. Now, onto the pill. I like the flavor. It tastes good to me. Is it fast dissolve... yes and no. It's fast dissolve because I bite it with my front teeth, but i can suck on one of these for a good 15 minutes. It takes about 20 minutes for me to start getting sleepy. I like these. I'll be buying another bag when these are gone.

The pill size and effectiveness combined with ease of use are the most positive attributes in my opinion. I docked one star for the ingredients, because the red color is unnecessary in my view. Also, the added sweetness is overdone, I think. As for the seal and the texture, I'd say it's just right. I think the texture is alright. The value is okay without being one of the better values, in my experience.

What can one day about melatonin? I've tried several brands. A melatonin connoisseur one could say. This brand works exceptionally well, pleasant taste and easy to take. 1 take 2 tabs and not only fall asleep within 20 min, but stay asleep most times. I will continue to use this brand.

I take Melatonin regularly, up to 60mg nightly. I have tried multiple brands - this product (Micro Ingredients 12mg), Carlyle 12mg quick dissolve, Nutricost 5mg, Life Flo 3mg body cream, and Now liquid 3mg. I highly recommend Melatonin in general based on the anti aging, anti oxidant properties. It can be used by mouth or on your skin - both is best. This product works, but I feel I got best results with the Nutricost capsule. However, that means 12 pills a night, which is a pain. I've just switched to the NOW brand 10mg tablet as I've heard good things with that brand. Just a heads up - the quick dissolve ones didn't really dissolve and I ended up swallowing them. They have a sweet flavor (which is not good for me) and a mild bitter aftertaste when crunched. The Life flo cream product was ok, but the bottle arrived almost empty (several others posted this same thing). The Now liquid is good, but has a sweetener, which limits topical use (it's sticky on skin). If Nutricost ever makes a higher dose pill, I'll probably switch to that. Also capsules can be opened and rubbed onto the skin easily.

I had trouble falling asleep before I tried these. I now fall asleep faster, and stay asleep longer than I ever have. I wake up refreshed and no groggy morning effects!
