31 year old woman here. Initial rating: I find this to be the most effective thickening shampoo that I've ever used, and I have truly been around the market. The cayenne and saw palmetto ingredients really work; I almost feel as though I can feel the lingering effects of the scalp and hair follicle stimulation and I can feel the tiny hairs growing on my scalp. I used this product yeas ago, and then became so much more confident with the thickness and volume of my hair that I switched to shampoos that focus more on moisturizing curly and color-treated hair. My hair looks significantly thicker when I wear it curly, but for years I've worn it straight with bangs because I like the Audrey Hepburn style "French girl chic" style (permission granted for an eye-roll from the reader right now). I must also say that I am currently using HairKlinniken treatment (which I highly, HIGHLY recommend if you have thinning hair, ESPECIALLY for women), so it's difficult to sparse which effects are from that and which are from the shampoo. But I used this shampoo alone years ago and I really think it makes a huge difference. Now I am noticing a lot of shadowing on my scalp (an indication of near hair growth), and I can feel tiny hairs on my scalp. I also feel like my hair line is becoming a lot denser and more filled-out than it has been since I was 16 when my thinning hair symptoms started due to a severe illness. The one drawback of this shampoo, which I believe you will experience with any thickening shampoo is that it tends to be a bit drying. It will also make your hair grow longer faster. I love the added length to my hair, but I also feel like my ends get more dry. I need to find a really good moisturizing conditioner to use with it, and would recommend the same to others. I think I will also start using it every other day instead of every day. The bonus to having dryer hair for me is that I don't need to wash my hair everyday -- in fact, I can go about 3 days of unwashed hair and still have a lot of volume and body without oily hair. It's kind of cool. But alas, I recommend a good moisturizing conditioner to use on your ends.

I was staying at a friend’s place and used her cayenne and saw palmetto shampoo for a few days — and I was honestly surprised at how good it felt. My scalp had this refreshing, tingly sensation that made it feel more awake. After just a few washes, my hair felt fuller and didn’t shed as much. Even my edges looked a bit healthier. It smells nice too — clean and not overpowering. That short trial was enough to convince me to order my own bottle. Definitely worth trying if you’re dealing with thinning or weak hair.

I've been using this shampoo every day for a few days now and loving it. The warming, tingly feeling on my scalp feels so nice, and my hair is super soft and smooth after every wash. The scent is natural and fresh, and you can tell it’s a premium quality product.

I like the smell, how it feels on my scalp, the bottle / dispenser, etc. But it was expensive, and more importantly: is it thickening my hair after 4 1/2 months? I seriously doubt it!

It made me lose even more hair than I was already losing. I do not recommend this.

I had a serious problem with my hair because suddenly it is falling and the texture changes. The hair become thick and fragile. With this product it stops falling and is becomes strong. This shampoo smells great and leaves the hair very soft. Also I bought the conditioner and it is great too. Both are a great alternative for people that have the same problem that I had. I recommend strongly these products.

I can only talk about my exp and this shampoo did nothing for my hair thickness. I used another brand that was cheaper that worked times better that this one, but I guess this varies from person to person (I'm not saying the brand to not make it sound like a commercial).

I’ve been using the shampoo for over three years and it works. My hair was thinning and it has slowed considerably- and it looks and feels much thicker than it was. I use the shampoo every day and the conditioner 2-3 times per week. Love the scents these products have and how thick and shiny they make my hair look. These products are a great natural alternative to the crazy chemicals in the drugstore bought options. I would highly recommend.
