A real vibration absorber. Excellent !
I'm familiar with vibration dampening technology. These worked exactly as I hoped they would. The inner absorbing material works as it should. The outer layer is soft enough to prevent skidding. I purchase the four, 4-inch squares and only used two of the squares. They cut very easily with sharp utility knife. My washer and dryer with the OEM plastic feet, would easily slide on my vinyl floor. Inner layer does the job it should do. Outer layer keeps the units in place. I glued the appliance feet to the dampers with a craft glue. I just put a wedge umder a side, then put a blob of glue on them ...and slid the devices into place (under each appliance foot) with a stick. Then let it set for 24 hours before moving or using the appliance s. I did this so I could move/lift he appliances, and keep the dampeners in center. Do your best to not just make the appliance level, but strive to distribute weight equally. Odor is typical of materials of this kind....just off-gasses. Smells like new tires.

Stays in place.
Needed it under a platform that held a washing machine. So simple yet so effective. No more inching forward.

They work well
Using these on my big air compressor and they work very well. Cuts down on noise and not having the floor vibrate.

Great dampening. Buy the bigger size and cut down if you need 2x2s
Didn't smell too bad out of the package for me. I cut the 4x4 pieces into 2x2 pieces with my chop saw and got more pads for the money than the 2x2 item that is for sale. The terrible smell that others complain about cam back after cutting the pieces, but these are being installed under AC condenser units outside my home, so I am not too worried about how long they are going to smell for. Overall happy with these pads as they helped significantly quiet my condenser unit along with some rubber washers on the cage of the condenser.

How loud is your portable air conditioner? Really.
I am impressed by the outer rubber, it felt tough as construction material and its middle foam no joke for trapping vibrated sound. To begin, I was hesitant asking myself why I am paying nearly $20 for four piece of block, I can see why now. Upstairs the portable air conditioner Midea Duo rocked my hollow room which I attempted to fix by placing a thick foam gym floor mat beneath it. For a time the mat helped ok-ish with the noise and rumbling, but portal air conditioners are heavy and mine gradually sunk into the mat, which later made the unit sag unevenly to one side and bringing back the shaking I've been trying to escape from. Slipping these below my ac was such a huge deal and relief to me. I even got a bit emotional..*sniff. Both vibration and sound dampening improved so much. The rubber holds up like concrete flooring and from the looks of it seems impossible it will bend or slope. Now granted my use is for a house hold product and your usage may be something industrially larger, but for families looking for relatable solutions, this is it. I've spotted a few lower cost ones under different branding, but ultimately went with this more expensive LBG. My personal take is don't cheap out on product that closely impact your well being. I've lived through the worse with my roaring ac, but will be sound asleep tonight, when the sun sets.

Smelly: FIRST soak in Dawn and baking soda
They came fast but like many people I bought them to go under a treadmill that’s inside but they had a really REALLY bad rubbery smell . I’m on my first day soaking them in some Dawn dishwashing liquid(hey if it cleans up ducks and birds from oil spills maybe it will work). So if the smell goes away after a couple of days I will review again I suggest people try that if you are keeping them because they’re very solid and sturdy probably better for outside use though. UPDATE: Day 3 : after soaking these and some DAWN Dishwashing detergent And cool water plus I added a lot of baking soda I would put like half a small box swish it around for about three days changing the water once a day they are definitely tolerable for the price you might find something else that didn’t smell like a rubber factory. But I put them under the treadmill in a very small second bedroom and you can’t smell them . I may add a Glade plug in but you really can’t smell them under the treadmill they work perfect very solid very thick-just definitely soak them first or keep soaking them until the smell is tolerable and put them out to air. It was recommended if you have carpeting under your treadmill that you definitely want to put something like this because you can damage the belt if it’s too close to your carpeting but you don’t need an extra pad just these.

Works great!
Similar to everyone else, I've had great success with these. Pretty much eliminated my hot tub motor noise outside my bedroom. Sleeping peacefully again.
