Absolutely love it!
Santa came early... a gift from my husband! He had me open it before Christmas so that I can start the lettuce. The product box is sturdy and the items inside the box are all protected by plastic wrap and set in sturdy cardboard holders to keep them secure. All items were included as advertised and in pristine condition. A quick start card gives 4 steps to set up the device, plug it in, and then follow the easy-to-read and easy-to-understand instructions on the display panel. These include setting the clock, setting the light timer, selecting the item I'm growing (the lettuce), adding the water, adding the liquid plant food, and inserting the pods. There's further information on the inserts that came with the device and the pod boxes, including what to do if you have hard water or city water. I can't speak to connecting it to the internet for Alexa assistance, because I don't have Alexa. Overall, it was so easy to put it all together and have it begin its work! It makes a beautiful addition to the room we have it set up in. The light is very bright, but it can be dimmed as needed. On this first day I'm so very pleased with it! I'll be back when I'm at a point of assessing its functionality and growing power! By the way, I'm an avid gardener (30+ years of gardens!) and this is my first time trying anything like this! DAY 3: All 9 pods have growth. I've added photos (after the seed pack photos) -- one of all 9 pods showing the growth and a closeup of 4 pods. I'm thrilled at these early results! I'll be back to update again soon. DAY 10: The covers are off! They probably could have been removed 2 days ago, but I wanted to be sure I wasn't rushing the process. They all look healthy! These are AeroGarden's "Garden Greens" package - green and red lettuce. According to the instructions any "darkish" spots indicate that those are red lettuces. I do see some dry tips, but that happens with all brand new seedlings, so I'm not concerned. I'm very pleased with the results to date and I'll continue to update for those who are interested. š Added a photo to show the unconvered greens. DAY 21: Added a photo to show everything growing and looking very healthy! It's just about time to start pinching off a few leaves to promote thicker growth. Not too long from now I'll be pinching off leaves for small salads! As someone who has been an "outside" gardener for 30+ years, it absolutely delights me to be growing salad greens inside through the winter. At this point I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product and hope everyone who buys it enjoys it as much as I have!

Bought - Open Box from Amazon
This is the 2nd of two that I bought open box from Amazon. The first one arrived in non-working condition (somebody obviously swapped their old broken one for the new one in the box). I sent it back defective with a comment on the switchero. The second one I ordered was like $10 more in cost for open box. But when it arrived, it had been opened, but never touched. Never setup. It was literally brand new. I was ecstatic about this. I love it. The only thing I would say is that if you are purchasing this because of the wifi App only - DONT! go for the Harvest without the app. The app is mostly worthless, when it works. It doesn't do a notification when you need to add water, or when you need to add fertilizer. You can, change settings via the app and look up recipes and turn it off / on but that's all its good for. Overall, I am 100% happy with this purchase.

Great AeroGarden!
My wife loves her AreoGardens and this one is definitely a keeper. Larger size than her other easy to maintain, great build quality and grows plants like bok choy, lettuce and even cherry tomatoes extremely well.

My PopUp Garden
A transplanted Texan (pun intended!), gardening in Las Vegas been akin to plowing hell for the last 20 years BUT my green thumb has been rejuvenated! 𤣠My AeroGarden Bounty was very easy to set up. At my age and getting a little free about remembering things, the Bluetooth feature is wonderful and simple to use, reminding me when to add water/nutrients. There are notifications about plant care like thinning. My rocker husband (as in roll - not chair) gets a kick out of spotting the sprouts. I donāt understand why Amazon urges me to mention āthicknessā in my review but I placed mine on top of a small bookshelf my granddad built around 1925, which is roughly 11ā wide. My first photo shows the nine pods I planted in initial setup: back row is five cherry tomatoes, four herbs in the front: mint, basil and two chives. These Iāll transplant to window pots. Other photo shows individual pod under a cap, removed when leaves touch the top - time for this varied from shortest (cherry tomatoes) to mint at the longer end. Will amend review as first plants mature.

I had been wanting an Aerogarden for a while, so when the first panicked wave of COVID19 hit, I went ahead and purchased the Bounty. I have no regrets on this purchase. It's so easy to set up that I was sure I'd done something wrong. Just pop a couple pieces together, fill it with water and drop the pods in. If like me, you forget to look after your plants, this connects to wi-fi and will send you reminders for when to add food or if the water gets low. At 28 days since planting my pods, I've already done some mini harvests on basil, dil and mint. Thyme and parsley are a little slow to get going, but they are doing great. It has been fascinating to watch these plants grow and something happy to look forward to each day. The light is B R I G H T. So bright that when I come down at 5 the morning and the rest of the lights are off, it doesn't matter. I read some stuff online and decided I was smart, so I wrapped the whole thing in tin foil. It kept the light inside, kept the humidity up and my retinas were thankful. My pods sprouted several days earlier than expected, so I highly recommend this little hack. Once everything was an inch or so high I kep the tin foil off as I wanted to check on them every day. I also used the light for other plants. In jars off to the side I've sprouted some garlic cloves, regrown green onions. I reused the tin foil to create a three-sided wall around a seed starting kit and placed it next to the Bounty to use the light. In 5 days, everything had sprouted, even my pumpkin and melon seeds. To replace the water, which is recommended once a month, I just pulled the light off the pole, unplugged the pump and lifted the whole top lid with the pods up off the water bucket. I placed the whole section on the edges of a cardboard box (like the box was opened and the flaps were sticking straight up. I propped the corner of the box against a wall so it wouldn't shift). It was easy to pick up the water bucket and carry it to the sink to rinse and refill. Took less than 5 minutes. The water pump is whisper quiet. I also have an Aerogarden Sprout. It is not quiet.

I have always been a brown thumb and with this machine, I can successfully be a "gardener". The machine does 90% of the work, you just have to choose, which plants, veggies, or herbs you want to grow, add water and nutrients. The check up on the plants as it you go and add water and nutrients as requested by the machine. For a lower cost, reliable machine, I strongly recommend AEROGARDEN. I have been using them for over 10 years. I bought this one because my outdated model needed new parts and aerogarden doesn't supply them anymore. After seeing the difference in this one compared to my older one, they are WAY more sturdy. In case, you don't know AEROGARDEN, backs up their machine and seeds for 1 year. Easy to put together, set up and being a green thumb.

I love this system for the excellent instructions and ease in setup I would give it a 5 rating for that. However I chose to reduce that rating to 3 stars (improvement required on the support side) for 2 reasons.: (1) Support is not quick and it took several days to get anyone to respond after submitting 3 requests for assistance on separate days because we could not get wi-fi access linking our Aerogarden to our network. The only support is via a limited chat function that seems inflexibly automated. Aerogarden provides a toll free number which tells us they do not provide phone support. That deserves a 3 out of 5 in my opinion. (2) The reason we settled on purchasing the Aerogarden Bounty as a birthday gift, was the wi-fi feature , which does not work. We wasted much time trying lots of actions from FAQS etc. Finally someone from Aerogarden support emailed back to us after many days, after we had given up, and told us that the Aerogarden server is down and there is no ETA to fix it. Will Aerogarden show us that its focus is on providing great customer service and broadcast to us when their Aerogarden server is back online ? Or will we have to suffer and try everyday to see if their problem has been resolved. Only when i get my promised wi-fi access will i consider giving this product 5 stars. I don't like paying high prices for broken promises. Wi-fi access for me is value for money. So Aerogarden please fix your problem soon so that I can have confidence in your product and recommend others to follow my lead and buy more units. Our Aerogarden Bounty system works well other than the failure of the access to the wi-fi and the Aerogarden server.

As for the aerogarden it's self I really like it I've only had it a few days so I haven't got much to say about it as a whole but I will say that in Canada the alexa feature does not work. It says to connect to alexa you have to unlock the aerogarden skill only in Canada there is no aerogarden skill and after contacting Amazon and having them tell me that it is compatible and being transferred 7 times I finely found someone competent that informed me it is infact not compatible in Canada so he offered me a partial refund of $63 to compensate for the extra money I spent to have this option so buyer beware don't waist your money on this model of your wanting this option because it is not available for Canadians

Purchased as a Christmas present. Everything arrived okay, and assembly was pretty easy. Set-up not so much. Documentation lacks some pretty key information. The unit is supposed to connect to wifi but this doesn't work. A quick internet search shows that wifi issues are not rare. Also supposed to install an app on the phone to connect and receive messages. Would not install on my wife's iphone. Tried mine and while it did install there was a warning message that Aerogarden will shut down January 1, 2025. So they sold me this thing even though the company is going down? Kind of cheesy if you ask me.
