I have been using tanner since I was 12, I’m not kidding when I tell you I have used almost every tanner you could think of. I have learned a lot along the way. I recently have been obsessed with ST. Tropez classic self bronzing lotion for a min. I use that to extend my mousse tanner I use Bondi sands (something cheap) I also use the st tropez as a bronzing face lotion to match my tanner. I really can’t be dishing out 45$ a month or every other month on the lotion so I needed to find an alternative that was tinted. You’d be surprised how many non tinted tanners over shadow the tinted. That has literally been all there used to be. Anyways, this tanner is gorgeous it does leave a teeny hint of orange but only if you’re actually standing next to someone pale -like my bf, you also have to note my undertone is fair-light with pink undertones, there’s only like 1-2 online tanners I can get that won’t turn me some shade of orange. It doesn’t bother me. I really wasnt expecting this to develop so dark on my skin, I am so impressed. It definitely developed darker than the st tropez and I can use this in lieu of my mousses instead of an extender. Very happy with this and the price

I really like this stuff. It doesn’t smell bad. It kinda smells like one of those expensive lotions we used to use in the tanning bed in the 00’s lol and it was super easy to use. Way darker than I was expecting but a nice color. I didn’t know you were supposed to prep skin so I didn’t and it still turned out nice. I did use a mit. It’s not streaky or patchy. I’m glad I found this because I feel like it’s a little easier than the foam. It got on my clothes a little while I was sleeping but all tan does that. So I’m not mad. I would recommend.

This is my third purchase! I bought the mitt with the first. It's super easy to apply. The most natural tan, being violet based. No odor. No orange. No streaking. Love the product!

This is the Best, Ultimate Tanning Lotion company!! And, this is by Far the Best solution. It's conveniently packaged and when used with the mitt, works absolute wonders!! It bronzes instantly and the color continues to get deeper as you wear it. I do have to say that I wish it would be available in a larger unit. I go through this one in about a month's time on average. And, I also have to say it is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. I've tried other tanners and they pale in comparison. They fade unevenly and make it appear as if you have a skin disorder. They're not worth it. This is the only tanning lotion I will use anymore. And, if I can't afford it for a time then yes, I will be pale. I won't waste good money on other junky products. Buy this now, if you want to really look tan really quickly and naturally!!

If you’re like me and thought this would be comparable to a drug store gradual tanning lotion, you would be wrong. It comes out of the tube looking nearly black and needs to be applied with a mitt, not your bare hands. This is straight up self tanner. HOWEVER, it works and looks great. I already use other Norvell products and am generally happy with them. This product dries much quicker than their sunless tanning mousse. It does not do a great job of moisturizing, so I would recommend using your regular lotion either before or after, or mixing with this tan lotion. The tan itself is great—not orange, natural looking. I do find that it has a classic self tanner scent to it but it’s not overwhelming like some others. I haven’t noticed any streaking with this product which has been REALLY nice. Overall, 4 stars. Wish it was more moisturizing.

This is the best self tanner by far. I indoor tan year around and work outside a lot in the summer. My natural tan color has a red/pink hue to it. when I want that bronzed brown color I use this self tanner and it neutralizes the red and gives me the dark brown color I’m looking for. A little goes a long way and it’s so easy to use with a tanning mitt. It goes on smoothly and evenly and lasts for a week.

Know that I am incredibly fair skinned and freckled with pink undertones in my skin. Having said that, I love Norvell products, and I think this is quality. However, there is a learning curve with this product. Use latex gloves or a mitt to apply. Great lighting for application is a must and a mirror is helpful too! If you see streaks in application, they will be a dark green or almost black…. They will cure as streaks as well. I’ve found that applying thin layers works best. You should prep the skin with thorough exfoliation.

I am as pale as this website page, with a hint of yellow (think pale af Spanish influence).... normally fake tans turn me orange or a horrible sallow colour. Not this one! Perfect every time! Very important to scrub and moisturise a few days leading up to the tan, or the bronzer will sort of stick in your skin too much. Goes on lovely with a mit, and I do my face with a stippling brush. Don't be afraid of the chocolate mousse appearance. Leave it on overnight and wash off in the morning, bronzer goes down the drain leaving a lovely, reddish brown light tan. Lasts about 8 days on me. I used to use popular lotion tanners ahem... rhyms with "love".... not any more!

I have tried countless self tanners and wasted so much money trying to find one that works for me and that doesn’t come out some shade of orange. I very rarely leave reviews but the other reviews for this product convinced me to try it and I’m so glad I did! I put it on a week ago and it came out a gorgeous natural brown shade that just works perfectly for my skin tone. I’m naturally very pale and the buildable aspect of this lotion gives me better control over the shade I want to be. One application left overnight came out perfectly for me. Not too dark and not too light. It doesn’t transfer easily. I do notice a bit on my wash cloth when washing my face but nothing compared to other self tanners. I get colour for a good 7-10 days but I think it would be less if I shaved my legs (I wax). I will definitely be ordering again.

I got this product looking at all the good reviews and I got a good deal on it in Black Friday sale; so I bought x2 of them on sale. I must have gotten expired products because there gross dark gray liquid and they don’t absorb into the skin you shake the bottle and it’s complete liquid gross mess and a can’t believe I gave it a chance of applying it. Don’t waste your money it also does t blend even it leave dark gray spots on you skin and gross liquid application. I tried to mix it with other lotions and it is just a mess. Gross.! Now I’m stuck with 2 bottles of this liquid substance that’s supposed to be a cream. It’s a waste don’t waste your time on this. Now I’m stuck with these 2 liquid substances that I cannot use.
