Yum- big juicy clams in juice
This is absolutely loaded with big tasty pieces of clams. It makes a fabulous clam sauce for linguine. I am definitely going to buy this again. Great quality and great value.

Indispensable for a well-stocked pantry
Perfect for linguine alle vongole, Bahamian clam fritters, etc., etc—or if you're a lover of tinned seafood, as I am, simply dumped out of the tin, and eaten straightaway with maybe a squeeze of lemon, a bit of chopped parsley, and a glass of pinot grigio, chablis, or sauvignon blanc. This is one of the least expensive ways I know to get a taste of la dolce vita!

Review: Snow's Wild Caught Chopped Clams Canned (6.5 oz Can)
If you’re a seafood lover or just someone looking to elevate your meals, Snow's Wild Caught Chopped Clams (6.5 oz can) is a game-changer! These clams are not only wild-caught, which ensures better flavor and texture, but they’re also incredibly versatile. Whether you’re making a classic clam chowder, tossing them into pasta, or adding them to a seafood stew, these chopped clams deliver a fresh, authentic taste that truly enhances your dish. The clams themselves are perfectly chopped—just the right size to create a satisfying bite without being too small or too large. They’re packed in a briny liquid that adds a depth of flavor to your recipes. Plus, the can size is ideal for home cooking, offering just enough clams for a recipe without leaving you with excess. What I appreciate most is how convenient they are. No need to deal with cleaning and prepping fresh clams—just open the can, and you’re ready to go. The quality is consistent every time, and I never worry about tough or rubbery pieces, which can sometimes happen with other canned seafood brands. Overall, Snow’s Wild Caught Chopped Clams are a must-have pantry staple. They bring a taste of the sea to your kitchen with minimal effort, making them perfect for busy weeknight dinners or more elaborate seafood dishes. Highly recommend!

lots of juice, decent meat
meaty, salty, juicy - it's what you'd expect. Also, if you have a recipe needing clam juice, this has at least a bottle's worth inside, so you can save a bit, for something like a Cioppino, which is already going to be expensive! That's the downside too though... most of the weight is juice, not clam meat. Still it's a lot of meat for a decent price - good for a full 16 qt batch of cioppino when you add some other seafood to complement.

Made a delicious clam chowder with these
I wanted to make clam chowder and could not find clams in the grocery store. Rather than going to at least one more store, I checked on Amazon. There were quite a few choices—this large can was half the price of the one I have used in the past. These were excellent—hardly any sand in the juice when I strained them. The clams looked very good and they made a wonderful chowder. The recipe called for a lot fewer of clams, but I like to load it up. with this 51 ounces can.I used a half gallon of half and half plus the clam juice. For more liquid you can add chicken broth or a bottle of clam juice. Soften celery, onion, and 2-3 potatoes—all chopped—in the clam juice, Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Make a flour/butter roux and add some of the half and half to it until you have a thickened paste, then slowly add to the rest of the liquid which is simmering, not boiling. Add clams at the end—dash of hot sauce is optional. Rave reviews! Will order again.

Quality You Can Trust and Taste
I have been using this brand, particularly, this type of clams (be aware there are other different types out there) for about 10 years now. I made about 4 batches each year. Before finding this brand, I did try other brands/clams type and I find this item has larger pieces of clams, the clam meat is tender (unlike others that tend to fall apart), the juice is not too salty, only very small amount of cleaning (I alway run my fingers through and discard the dirt pieces). The clams hold their shape and texture after cooking. Highly recommended.

The ocean called and is running out of clams!
If you have purchased canned clams in a grocery store recently, you know what a great value this can is! There are a ton of clams in there. Clams are a good size and texture. I use it with gluten-free mung bean threads (for angel hair) or sweet potato noodles (for spaghetti) to make an incredible pasta and clams.
