SPURK GOLF Winter Strike Mat (Fairway protection and practice)

Excellent mat. Works really well and is essential in bad weather. I've tried other mats and this is the best by far. Mats will be compulsory on our course next wet season and this is the mat to get. Not cheap but not too big, firm and a very stable base for hitting from.

These mats are an excellent addition to your winter golf pack. Excellent to play off and almost an aid for aiming. Very sturdy and do not move when positioned

Great mat for your winter Rules as on most courses used to protect fairways... I've tried lots over the years and without any doubt this is the best, so well made, sturdy construction, grips the turf and stays in place whatever type of shot you play ... (if I have one negative it should be supplied with a carry bag or loop string for storing during the round) its too expensive, to easy to be dropping off your bag!

I went for this mat/brand as I have used one of my friends before. its a bit on the pricey side to be honest but it's a very good quality mat, well made and durable. I chose the short grass version, and found it easy to use, you just have to line it up with the flag and step on it to seat it down onto the fairway. I found on uneven ground the trick is lay it on the fairway, if it's an up hill lie just stand on the front of the mat to seat the front two pegs. if down hill only step on the back to keep the mat level and your ball won't roll off. if at an angle just step on the side to make it level. it seems to work well like this..and so far the mat has never moved or caused a poor strike. yes you can get cheaper ones but they don't look as good quality to me.

this strike mat is very good , place on ground & press lightly, it has a hole to put your tee into, line up your shot brill. no more dirty clubs. My golf club is also very pleased as fairway is protected.

Does exactly what it says on the tin of golf mats. Better than most mats that have a soft/flexible underside & more secure in staying in place & not moving when stuck by the club head.

I think it’s easily the best golf mat on the market. Fees really solid on the ground and the log pile/astro is relatively tight which makes pure strikes more possible (as opposed to hitting the mat or adjusting the low point for mats that stick up more)

Great product. Sits in the ground really well and doesn’t move when hitting the ball off it. The size is perfect. Very durable and light weight too. Overall great product, highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, top quality winter mat.
