Great quality
Works great on my dobberman. Helps them to stop pulling when on walks. Easy to put on and take off. Doesn't seem to bother my dog when she doesn't pull.

The only prong collar you need: Herm Sprenger
If it’s not Herm Sprenger, then it’s not a true prong collar. I have a German shepherd husky, and it fits her beautifully. I’ve put this collar on my arm, and yanked it with an unnecessary amount of strength, no where near what should be used for a dog lol. No, it did not hurt. It’s even pressure, all the way around. It will cause quick discomfort, NOT pain. Great TOOL for correcting unwanted behavior. RESEARCH how to size, fit, and properly use on your dog before buying. The chain is smooth when giving corrections. It doesn’t feel jerky or like it slips. The color is very nice. Add or take away links for a proper fit, which is easy to do. IF your dog is in between sizes (meaning one link is too big, and removing one link is too small) look up the zip tie hack for prong collars. Excellent craftsmanship and results.

Well made training tool!
Excellent and reliable quality. I would recommend using an additional martingale collar with it, as insurance. I also replaced the front plate with a metal clip plate made to work with Herm Sprenger, for easier use and on/off. Was not long enough for my adult golden retriever, 65lbs, so I had to buy extra links. Very effective in correcting some behaviors. Started by just getting the dog used to wearing it, but with the leash connected to the other collar only. He learned that the sound of his prong collar means a fun outing, walk, or training.

If you don't have one, get one.
Check out upstate training academy on YouTube for how to videos with these... and how they should FIT your dog. These should NOT be loose. That's how I found this brand actually. Check out the size guide before you buy....I ended up buying one that was too small before and had to order more links for it. I needed a second one and got this. I love so much about these. They are easy to use... yes they are harder than a quick hook, but they should be. They give you so much control. They make training a breeze and I'm new at training my dogs with these. If you correct with these properly all of your problems with your dog will vanish. I have a 90lb pit lab mix that pulled so bad we could never walk him. I wish I had educated myself sooner. This changed things COMPLETELY. My husband couldn't even walk him on a regular leash. Now, he gets excited and just whines. If he pulls to sniff I just give a quick small jerk on the leash and he stops in his tracks. He will still try to put occasionally but I just have to give the correction again and he starts watching for my direction again. He's a very high energy, excited, strong dog and this tamed him. He sees his lead is excited to go on a walk. We got a new dog from the shelter... she's a little mini pit. Half the size of her brother. She's more scared of things and skidding. Walking her was a nightmare. She would just sit and not move because she didn't like being forced to do anything because of her fear. It was more difficult to train her with this collar than her brother, but it worked. 2 quick corrections and she's no longer laying down... she's walking with us. She learned heel after 1 very long walk. That wouldn't have happened in 100 walks without this collar. The spinning loop on this doesn't make a difference to me. I have one with it and one without. If I was a trainer or very serious about training it might make a difference, but I walk at a state park on trails and give my dogs more freedom with the leash length so it doesn't really matter to have that swivel.

Works great
Worked great but I had to order 1/2 links for my dog my trainer had her with the smaller Herman Miller. I believe it was the smallest size she kept breaking out of that one went up to the size with some half links that worked perfect. I highly recommend training has been a breeze.

It randomly comes disconnected and falls off!
I wish I had read the other reviews (especially the 1-star reviews). I have experienced same issues: A) The prongs that must be squeezed to put on/remove the collar are awkward & can be difficult to connect to the adjoining clasp. WORSE: The collar links randomly come apart and the collar falls off! Having a short double-ended clasp to connect this product to the regular collar is mandatory...if nit you may be walking your dog and viola! this collar is on the ground and the dog takes off. Total junk.

The best prong collar out there
Got this prong collar for my GSD/husky mix who pulls like a freight train after watching countless hours of Youtube videos about them. Initially I was very wary of using something like this on my baby as we have all heard horror stories about these types of collars. I went to a big box pet store that sells generic brand prong collars and felt them- the tips on those were horrendous. But these Herm Sprenger collars are SO much better in comparison. The prongs are not sharp at all and I tested the collar on myself around my arm and even pulling with all my strength was just uncomfortable at most but they did not cut me or damage me in any way. If you are thinking about getting a prong collar for your dog, this is the only kind I would recommend, and PLEASE do a lot of research about how to properly use them before you try it. I introduced it slowly to my dog; we practiced inside the house with it first for a few days, then the backyard for a few more days, and then finally we started using it on our neighborhood walks. It's like I have a different dog. I rate the collar itself as 5 stars as it is truly the best of its kind but when rating the features I gave it 3 stars for being "easy to remove". If you just use this with no buckle it is difficult to undo the prongs. My hands are a bit arthritic so it was really difficult for me. I bought a "Katie's Buckle" (google it to find her website, I don't think they are sold on Amazon) and attached it and it made it sooooooo much easier to take on and off. I had also bought the Herm Sprenger buckle which was an improvement but the Katie's buckle is best in my opinion.
