Great quality
Works great on my dobberman. Helps them to stop pulling when on walks. Easy to put on and take off. Doesn't seem to bother my dog when she doesn't pull.

The only prong collar you need: Herm Sprenger
If it’s not Herm Sprenger, then it’s not a true prong collar. I have a German shepherd husky, and it fits her beautifully. I’ve put this collar on my arm, and yanked it with an unnecessary amount of strength, no where near what should be used for a dog lol. No, it did not hurt. It’s even pressure, all the way around. It will cause quick discomfort, NOT pain. Great TOOL for correcting unwanted behavior. RESEARCH how to size, fit, and properly use on your dog before buying. The chain is smooth when giving corrections. It doesn’t feel jerky or like it slips. The color is very nice. Add or take away links for a proper fit, which is easy to do. IF your dog is in between sizes (meaning one link is too big, and removing one link is too small) look up the zip tie hack for prong collars. Excellent craftsmanship and results.

Well made training tool!
Excellent and reliable quality. I would recommend using an additional martingale collar with it, as insurance. I also replaced the front plate with a metal clip plate made to work with Herm Sprenger, for easier use and on/off. Was not long enough for my adult golden retriever, 65lbs, so I had to buy extra links. Very effective in correcting some behaviors. Started by just getting the dog used to wearing it, but with the leash connected to the other collar only. He learned that the sound of his prong collar means a fun outing, walk, or training.

Excellent product!
Love this collar! I was using a harness prior to purchasing this product. It wasn't stopping my dog from pulling me. A friend recommended that I buy this collar, and I'm so glad I did. I just give a little tug and my dog yields. I had to remove one of the prongs to make it more snug and it was easy! It's also very easy to remove when we go to the dog park. I highly recommend this product.

Prong collar is a great training device
Herm Sprenger prong collar is easy to use, does not hurt the dog at all, it is just a pinch on the dogs neck, after a few days the dog I was training walked with out pulling on the leach or running out the door, made walks more enjoyable.

Better than chrome HS prong collar
We first bought our dog the chrome Herm Sprenger 3mm prong collar. However, after 5 weeks, the metal started splintering on the d ring to a very sharp point and I almost cut my finger. We were just passed our 30 day return policy so I contacted HS directly. They permitted the return through Amazon and Amazon approved with the exception of a restocking fee. We decided to buy the black stainless steel HS which we originally wanted anyhow. For our gray dog, it doesn't stand out as much, looks a lot cleaner, and coordinates with our stacked collars (prong, ecollar when in use, & herm sprenger clicklock DogLine biothane collar). She wore this black HS prong for 3 weeks at Board and train in addition to 1.5 weeks at home. So far, no issues at all. We have no issue with dexterity so placing on and removing is easy for us. We removed one prong link for a better fit. Highly recommend!

Great Training Tool, Get Secondary attachment for Safety if it comes apart during a walk!
I bought this prong collar and it really does do a great job at training and reinforcement with my dog...if you used correctly and safely. Fitting is key to this. In my opinion the most important part of this, is that this prong collar should NOT be used by itself with the leash only being attach to the prong collar and nothing else as these can and will fall of or come apart in the middle of a walk. Please get an extra attachment to attach your dogs real collar to their leash as a safeguard if/when (mine has fallen off a few times during a walk and every single time it was saved by having a backup connection to their collar/leash) the prong collar falls off. Additionally, there are a few different Herm Sprenger prong collars sold and i actually do not love this one with the swivel ring as it is VERY THIN and can easily slide off your leash clip (hence also the need for a secondary attachment). If I was to reorder one I would probably avoid the swivel ring and get one of the standard original pieces. Overall: Great training tool and really works. Look up some videos online about how to use it on a walk and how not to hurt your dog when using it and it will change everything about your walks. Maybe look at one of the non swivel rings since the ring on this product is very thin. Get a secondary attachment PLEASE.

The best prong collar out there
Got this prong collar for my GSD/husky mix who pulls like a freight train after watching countless hours of Youtube videos about them. Initially I was very wary of using something like this on my baby as we have all heard horror stories about these types of collars. I went to a big box pet store that sells generic brand prong collars and felt them- the tips on those were horrendous. But these Herm Sprenger collars are SO much better in comparison. The prongs are not sharp at all and I tested the collar on myself around my arm and even pulling with all my strength was just uncomfortable at most but they did not cut me or damage me in any way. If you are thinking about getting a prong collar for your dog, this is the only kind I would recommend, and PLEASE do a lot of research about how to properly use them before you try it. I introduced it slowly to my dog; we practiced inside the house with it first for a few days, then the backyard for a few more days, and then finally we started using it on our neighborhood walks. It's like I have a different dog. I rate the collar itself as 5 stars as it is truly the best of its kind but when rating the features I gave it 3 stars for being "easy to remove". If you just use this with no buckle it is difficult to undo the prongs. My hands are a bit arthritic so it was really difficult for me. I bought a "Katie's Buckle" (google it to find her website, I don't think they are sold on Amazon) and attached it and it made it sooooooo much easier to take on and off. I had also bought the Herm Sprenger buckle which was an improvement but the Katie's buckle is best in my opinion.

I am not a fan of hurting any animal which is why I like this setup. It only pinches when they pull and has the ability for a quick release if there is trouble for whatever reason. We've been using it for our large dog that has now stopped the pulling. Hopefully when the puppy stage is over, we can ditch the pincher..

This is very good quality and used correctly it works effectively! No more pulling from my 6 month GSD that I've tried and tried to train to stop pulling. Now he's the absolute best walker on the streets!

O produto vai descascando com o uso e deixa uma marca preta no pescoço do cão, especialmente em cães de pelo claro.
