Thank you. This is what we needed. We first bought a metal one from Lowes. BUT!!! We did not think that we could not screw it, because the thread did not hold!!! And this product is amazing!!! Installed without difficulty. Everything is holding up great. Connected washing machine. Doesn't leak water anywhere. I recommend. Good price!!!

It was delivered fast, but didn’t come with the washer. Had one in my tool box so it was ok instead of returning and get another one.

This is exactly what I needed that Home Depot didn't have. No leaks and works perfect. I just had to cut it down a little.

I know there is an upward diverter to prevent dishwater flow going up the main stem. But, upon inspection, I found a partial piece of plastic inside the bottom of the joint where the dishwasher side stem interfaces with the main tube. This means the dishwasher waste would pool about a quarter of an inch in depth, never fully emptying into the main tube... Eventually causing mold and stench. I solved the problem by inserting a round file to file off that piece of manufacturing obstruction. Having said that, it works very well as a "one piece solution" to join the kitchen strainer drain to the waste pipe. I especially like how fast the dishwasher now drains. That dishwasher sidearm is a generous 3/4 in. for a fast discharge into the main tube. I would have given 5 stars if it did not have that manufacturing issue. Just inspect yours to make sure you don't have that issue.

I didn't give any stars for Easy To Install, because it's an under-sink plumbing item and nothing there is EVER easy to install. Otherwise, I tried to find one of these at my local True Value Hardware and good luck. But Amazon has them and it got here quickly enough. I'd removed my useless garbage disposal unit and plumbed it back to a regular drain. This place is on a septic, and if you want to pay to have your septic pumped every other year, use a garbage disposal. Otherwise throw the garbage in the garbage can.
