Schar Artisan White Bread, Gluten Free, 14.1 oz

This bread works wonderfully for french toast right out of the bag. Despite being made with sourdough, and being GF, this bread tastes like normal white bread. It is pretty dense, but not crumbly. 10/10!

Sometimes when I purchase the bread, it is very dry and tasteless. Otherwise, if it is softer and moist, it is delicious. I always try to get a good date.

Was getting company and had no time to run to look for this bread. It was the right bread but VERY expensive

This was a decent tasting bread. For being gluten free at least. I’ve had worse experiences with gluten free products. This seems to be one that lasted l9nger then most. It was a great cost compared to other brands.

It has a texture to it but not as strong as other bread we have tried. Slices are quite small.

gluten free who knew it would be such an adventure finding one that looks and tastes like wheat bread, but it has been a long journey. was using udi's and i do eat it without toasting, but was longing for a different experience. enter schar and i do like it for something different to eat. for my personal taste, after being gluten free for a long time, it tastes just like regular white bread toasted. i am grateful for another brand of sandwich bread. i also like schar's other bread products....the baguette, submarine rolls, white rolls and ciabatta rolls. update: when i bought and reviewed, the price was $6.99 add-on. what's going on with price? will be price checking on amazon or going to another website. 6/17/16 update.....i see it is now $5.79 great to see it at a reasonable price.

Nice bread when you need gluten-free. First had a Schar gluten-free product while in France this year. Their table crackers (saltines) are great! Taste, crunch, texture so close to regular even I ate them -- and it's only my wife that's on a gluten-free diet. If I didn't know they were gluten-free, I wouldn't have know. THAT is a very positive endorsement of a product!
