LEGO Friends 41026 Sunshine Harvest

This is a wonderful Lego set for girls age 6 ~ 12, but I think something like this could be relaxing to play with even as an adult. The pieces are perfectly made, as with most Lego systems - they just fit perfectly. The set takes a good hour to finish for a child with occasional adult supervision. Once finished, you have a set of garden toys that can spark your child's imagination. The plastics used is of superb quality - absolutely no chemical smells.

So many play options. We had a blast putting this together and using it for counting and play. Awesome parts for food and cookies and the like. Build was easy to complete but the fun was in the playing with the apples and cookies and pie pieces. A lot of fun especially when combined with more sets and figures.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for one of my granddaughters. She loves Legos and spends hours playing with them. This item arrived well packaged and was not missing any parts. It is a very cute set and my granddaughter loved it. Amazon had it available and at a good value.

It's great that Lego finally started making Legos for girls. The only thing, which is not actually a complaint, but I wish they would have kept the mini figs the same as the other mini figs so they could cross over with the others easier. The regular Legos with the female mini figs are just fine, especially the ones that come with the castles. Other than that, these are great and my granddaughter loves them!

My girls love the Lego Friends sets. I do think they are a bit pricey but they last, are played with often and can be used with our other basic Lego sets. I do think this was a little bit challenging for my 5 year old but I think it is specified for that age and up. My 7 year old had no problem at all putting it together. The set is adorable, has a lot of parts and can be used with other Lego Friends sets for great imaginative play.

As with many smaller Lego sets, Sunshine Harvest seems to want to squeeze in as many different elements as possible. For $20, you get a tractor and trailer, a vegetable garden, fruit tree, market stand, flower holder (?) and a dog house with dog. This makes for kind of a disjointed set with some components that don't seem well-thought out, but should still be fun for kids. The tractor and trailer are the highlight of this set. They are attractively-colored, if somewhat unrealistic, and can be "driven" by Olivia, the included minidoll. She seems inappropriately dressed to be handling large machinery in her tank top, skirt and fashionable ballet flats, but it is a very nicely printed outfit otherwise. The market stand has has a lot of playable elements, including a scale, a cake, a basket of strawberries and some preserves in bright colored jars. There is also a basket holding what I assume to be a bouquet of flowers, which don't stay in the basket very well. The "harvest" element of the set seems to come from the small vegetable garden and tree that are also included. Both seem a bit small and underwhelming though, which leads to that feeling that too many things were included in this set. A bigger tree, for instance, would look more natural than the small strange tree that is included. The garden is cute, but again would be more fun if it were larger and included more different plants. Finally, the set comes with a small white dog in under a tiny awning who seems out of place in this "harvest" themed set. Overall, this set should be playable because of the many elements included, but could have been better executed if it were either slightly larger or did not include so many disjointed items.

Lego does it again. What a great company with quality toys for kids. It's nice to be able to give them something that will still use their imagination and multiple ages can have fun with it. This set is cute as a button.

Great product - it was missing many pieces. Too bad - otherwise would have a higher rating.
