My husband is obsessed with this for shrimp batter. I have tried many other batters and this is by far the best! I try to keep one on hand at all times!

It is good and not hot spicy if you are worried.

I love the taste although over the past year I've used it with Slap Yo Mama seasoning. Its very easy to use, I simply rinse my chicken , sprinkle Slap Yo Mama on and coat it with Louisiana breading. As for cost, it is about the same as found in the grocery stores.

This was one of my absolute favorite brands when I used to live in the US. I used to buy a bulk of them and bring them back with me whenever I visited family. Very happy to see them selling internationally now. Highly recommend it. It's delicious, and very very versatile to mix with whatever extra spices and sauces/glazes you want. This is real southern fried chicken! No offense to the Brits, but nothing beats the authentic southern soul fried chicken experience :) ------------- My favorite childhood recipe: Lemon Pepper Honey Chicken & Waffles Glaze: In a saucepan simmer some honey (1/2 cup), lemon juice (2 lemons), and freshly cracked black pepper (1/2 tbsp) Chicken: Mix fry batter with some corn flour (2:1 ratio) (optional) Dip chicken in water+Sazon Goya seasoning mixture (for extra flavor and color) Dip chicken in buttermilk and dip into fry batter Deep fry in oil (ideally peanut oil) until golden orange on the outside or internal temp of 165 fahrenheit Place on a wire rack on top of a baking pan and glaze with honey lemon pepper sauce and let sit for a few minutes Place on top of waffles and drizzle some more of the glaze on it. (Optional) serve with room temperature paprika compound butter Enjoy!
