I just got this to grind cocoa paste. I was loosing fingertips with my old style graters as the paste is hard & force is a must. This really works terrifically for cocoa paste If I am grating a fair amount of something I will use this.. but usually I don’t grate large quantities so I use hand held grater. However This is made well, and has a small footprint so I can leave in a spot on the counter. Easy to assemble, easy to use & clean. I hope the blades stay sharp, the suction is easy to use as well. I am happy with this so far. Graters are only good if they are sharp.. my hand held Wusthof graters are used daily and still sharp after 15 years.

Works pretty well but I can't get it to stay suctioned to the counted. Otherwise great product, cuts well. Definitely a time saver.

I dread shredding cheese, and usually buy pre-shredded to save time and wrist/hand pain, as I have carpal tunnel in both hands/wrists. But then I kept seeing this same giant block of cheese on sale at my local grocery store, and couldn't pass it up anymore. I bought the block of cheese, but needed to solve my problem of shredding it. I was afraid it would end up staring back at me in the fridge every time I opened it up, and eventually go bad. I was looking for something similar to what they use at Olive Garden to shred the fresh cheese on your food, and then..... I found this amazing product! What I like about this product: It's nice and sturdy! The parts are all plastic, but they don't feel like they're going to shatter if I look at them the wrong way. The unit snaps together very cleanly with little effort, and comes apart just as easy to toss in the dishwasher for cleaning. I LOVE the suction feature on the bottom of the unit, which keeps the whole thing in place while you're rotating the arm and shredding the cheese. I shredded the giant 6lb block of cheese in around 10 minutes. The hand crank is very easy to rotate and drastically reduces the time it takes to shred your favorite blocks of cheese. What I don't like about this product: The suction cup doesn't always stick. You have to make sure that the bottom of the unit is completely clear of any particles, because any surface difference between the bottom of the shredder and your countertop will break that seal and cause it to come loose. Also, you will need to shred slower than you'd like if you don't want the barrel to get clogged with cheese. If you rotate it at a slower pace, you can still clear it out manually fairly easy, but also the cheese tends to roll out much more often when you go slower. If you rotate it too fast, the cheese goes into the barrel too fast, and gets stuck. That's when you have to take it apart and clear the clog before you can reassemble the unit and keep shredding. Overall I recommend this over any standard flat or box cheese grater, especially if you have wrist or hand strength issues. Score: 4.5/5

The grater does a good job. I got it mainly for cheese, but just used it for cabbage carrots and onion. Its easy to clean. My biggest problem with it is it doesn’t mount to the counter to table every well for use. Its constantly coming off. Its awkward to use because you’re trying to grate cheese and hold the unit in place at the same time. I would not recommend this for that reason.

I got this to try to actually use up the vegetables in my fridge and not constantly throw food out and waste money. The quality is amazing, it is super easy to assemble and designed really nicely. The grip is nice and I dont feel pretty protected since it comes with a finger guard to push the small pieces through.

Excellent and easy to use and time saving specially if you prepare bulk SASLAD or bulk things to cut.

this will not stick to the surface so when you rotate the lever it will keep moving. there will be a gap between the cutting piece and the body that the food will make its way between which will never produce a clean cut. overall material is weak plastic, I do not think it will survive the daily salad for a month. returned it.
