Great fit in our dog. Our dog likes to run in the woods in our property and this makes her easy to see. Bought the yellow. Light weight, comfortable for her and easy to put on her with the Velcro. Velcro stays put and does not loosen. Great value.

We live in a wooded area. I ordered both a yellow and orange vest so we have visibility through the woods. Our dog is 52 pounds but has the coloring of deer this time of year. Bow and firearm hunting for deer and small animals is common. We want to make sure there is no question if a hunter sees Gladys in the woods. There is a road nearby and while her tracker confirms she rarely crosses the road, any given time a squirrel could change that. We put the vest on whenever she is outdoors. An added benefit is how well the vest sheds STICK TIGHTS! Those things are all over this year. I am thinking the fact that it is waterproof with help shed snow this winter as well and lessen the number of towels we go through. The vest doesn't seem to bother her. In fact she willingly comes to slide it on when she wants to go outside. We leave the neck velcroed and slip it over her head. The body Velcro is wide for comfort and sticks well. The vest actually has a "glow" in sunlight so even helps with daytime visibility along with the color. It cleans up easily...including the yucky, gooey, stinky stuff she rolled in yesterday! The size is exactly as the chart indicated and fits well.

For the money, it is perfect. Very reflective and with two easy Velcro strips one around the collar and one under the belly it’s easy on easy off. I got the yellow one - medium for 60 pound dog - fits perfectly. The first 3 to 5 minutes she was a little bit like “what the heck is this thing on me?” getting used to it but after that, no compliments form the dog.

Ordered this for my newfy, took her with on a back country camping-hiking trip. We generally dont see many, if any, other humans on this trip, but just in case, i wanted to clearly identify my newf as a dog! I left this on her the whole time. (Except the hike in and out, when she wore her pack instead.) She slept in it (in the tent) wore it all day, and on day hikes. It is lightweight, but held up to some bushwhacking. Didnt cause her to be too hot. Velcro around belly and neck, fit her fine and stayed in place. She didnt seem to notice it was there. I like to be able to see where she is even at night, Just before dark i put a light harness on her, over the top of this thing, it fit great, honestly looked like the 2 were made to go together. We were there 3 nights, the light up harness was almost dead by bedtime on night 3. But this saftey vest has good reflective bits that jumped out whenever i looked up (wearing headlamp, of course.) Bought XL, she's 120lbs. Lots of fur.

We purchased one of these from another manufacturer (orange from petflect) a few years ago for our older/larger dog to wear during hunting season since we live in the country surrounded by woods. We tried to order another orange one for our new (smaller dog) but the small from that manufacturer (petflect) did not fit so we tried SafetyPUP XD because they had x-small as well. I ordered both the X-Small and the Small and sent back the X-Small since it fit our pup. WE LOVE IT and HERE'S WHY: First, the small from this company DID fit our 25 lb. shepherd/fox terrier rescue (whereas the other company's did not) but even if it hadn't, SafetyPUP still offered an X-Small- so: more size options. Second, the material is much better! It's way more reflective after several washings, seems more durable (though that was not an issue with the other manufacturer either as we still have and use it on our larger/older dog). But SafetyPUP's material is water repellent (if not waterproof) and has slightly more coverage over the front arms/lower neck than the other (which we offset on the other by adding an orange bandana- which is still worn). Overall- it's too bad we didn't find this company when we bought the first one! Since we liked the small orange so much (and our larger dog already has an orange vest) we also purchased the SafetyPUP XD URBAN in fluorescent yellow for both dogs: SMALL for Porter Jones (25 lb. shepherd/fox terrier mix rescue) & LARGE for Jabe Colden (75 lb. shepherd/collie mix rescue). I put the boys in the orange vests during the day in hunting season, and for those crepuscular hours (dawn/dusk) when the light is low- the Yellow shows up amazingly- you can even make out the yellow in full dark! And check either color out with a flashlight- FANTASTIC REFLECTION! Highly recommended for use at home, hiking, even in the water (if your dogs swim) so they can be seen by others (especially boaters). These have become a staple for our dogs whenever we leave the house now... better to have and not need, than need and not have. No more skipping out on spur of the moment hikes, or trail exploration because it's hunting season! We'll post some pics soon.

This is perfect for my dilute fawn Great Dane! She looks like a deer from afar and this really works when we are walking through the woods or if she’s just hanging outside with the family. Easy on, easy off and lightweight so she doesn’t seem to mind wearing it! Perfect for hunting season safety!

Also ich bin wirklich begeistert von der Weste! Ich hatte schon das ein oder andere Modell ausprobiert.. allerdings gefiel mir die Farbe und Reflektionskraft nie wirklich.. Dieses Modell ist neongelb und toll zu sehen. Auch der Schnitt überzeugt ! Schön lang hinten am Rücken geschnitten, das habe ich vorher schmerzlich vermisst. Bei meiner Belgischen Schäferhündin sitzt die Weste gut. Dürfte aber auch nicht kleiner sein. Bei meiner Border Collie MIx Hündin sitzt die perfekt. Leicht anzuziehen. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Got this for my dog for walking in the evenings over the next few darker months. It looks great and feels very well made. I haven't tried washing it yet so I can't say how it stands up to that. My dog would have been fine with a medium based on his measurements. Due to some reviews that said to order up a size I decided to get the large worried it wouldn't fit. The large is definitely too big but I this I can stick or sew on some velcro and it'll be fine. I think this will fit perfectly over his winter coat too without being too tight!

When I first bought this vest it only cost AUD$25.60 which I thought was alright, and once I recieved the coat I thought it was worth it for the quality. The price has now gone up by over $10 in 2 years, and is now AUD$36.19. I know everything has gotten more expensive to produce over the last few years, but a price increase of $5 every year just feels like greed.
