I like to shoot NSSF Rimfire Challenge matches and use a Ruger Mk style .22 pistol. Those matches, like Steel Challenge, require you to shoot the same stage 5x, which means you need at least 5 magazines. If you bring a guest, then you need at least 10 magazines, or you will be in a rush each time to load the ones you just used for your guest. This magazine case, which is designed for single stack 1911 magazines, works perfectly. I can load them before headed to the match and focus my time introducing my guest to the sport, as opposed to worrying about getting loaded up for the next stage.

These pouches are a great way to store and stage all you magazines at home and transport them. Considering that this case will be holding hundreds of dollars of magazines, it makes sense to have something rugged like this to protect them. Just the weight of the ammo alone that this thing will hold prevents this from going onto a belt, it's better suited for a range bag or perhaps a ruck where it can be secured well. It's a great way to stay organized and ready to go. Oh, and best of all, made in the USA!

Don’t know if I received the wrong pouch or not but there is no way double stack magazines fit in this pouch.

Exactly what I needed

This is an excellent product, 1911 magazines fit nicely.

So the one I got all the pouches are a different size, a magazine might fit into one smooth but move it over one and you are fighting to get it in there. It works well for storage but I would never put this on a belt.
