Don't trust samsung parts diagram. Check original part for number.
If you are purchasing this as a result of looking up a part number on a Samsung parts diagram, STOP! Samsung has errors on many of their diagrams listing incorrect part numbers. Take out the old part and look for the tag and part number. I found out the hard way.

Not doing what it should
I do appliance repair for a living. I ordered this part as a replacement for one of my customers. I decided to test the unit to verify it was working properly. It should change state from open circuit to Short circuit. This unit does not do that. It's always in short circuit mode. Be very careful

Defective parts
I ordered 2 of these to replace for my Samsung fridge. BOTH of them failed the continuity test as well as as Ohm test. Please test these before you sell them to customers!
