Poshland Custom Handmade Knife – Damascus Steel, Wooden Handle

First, the packaging was impressive. Coated in cosmoline, shrink wrapped, in a bag, in bubble wrap, in a box. The knife is a perfect size for a utilitarian blade. Thick and durable. The raven's head is perfect. Enough detail to look good but not so much that it looks inauthentic. The handle is barely enough for my hand but I have very large hands so it should work for most people. The leather wrap is glued so it will fail and eventually need to be redone and the sheath is leather but quite rudimentary. It's very thin, stiff, and I will eventually craft another one but this one will do for now. Over all I'm very happy with everything, especially at this price.

Surprisingly well made and a beautiful knife! Holds up super well and came extremely sharp. It is such an amazing little knife and my son carries it everywhere with him.

Knife looks good, feels solid in my hand, and is razor sharp. The sheath could be nicer looking though. It seemed too big and primitive for the knife.

I am very happy with the quality of the knife and how it feels in the hand. Don't know much about rust resistance so I can't tell you about that. But I can tell you it is larger than I was expecting and I do love the shape of it as well. The blade is pretty thick at least compared to my last one and very sharp. Only thing was I don't think I saw anything in the description saying what the pocket on the holster is for but I assume it's for a sharpening stone. Also it passed my cardboard test, so for context the reason I test with cardboard is most poor quality knives will break when I cut cardboard with them and it's a further test of sharpness. It went through cardboard very easy but not too easy without breaking. This has become my daily carry as I could entrust this knife with my life.

You really do have to be realistic with sub two hundred dollar handmade Damascus knives. It's not going to be perfect, it's going to have janky bits and rough bits... This was no different. The handle had a few jagged wooden spots where it was really rough, nothing unexpected for forty bucks. But the full tang had jagged sharp edges sticking out one side. If you actually tried to swing this knife or use it as a camping tool it would have hurt me. Booboo not emergency room... Again that could have been fixed with a dremel and some epoxy fill. I almost look at these knives as "kit knives" they're fat chunks of actual Damascus steel with sub par handles and usually pretty bad sheaths. But speaking of the sheath this is where I started the return process and it's entirely my fault. I didn't know you couldn't wear tracker knives on your hip gunslinger style. That's how I wear all my sheathed knives. Right hand draw. This sheath only let's you wear it blade up strapped to a belt. Usually in the small of your back as it's too awkward to wear on your side on the right to pull out and the left side is just useless for being able to remove the knife. Thr blade itself was lovely. Came oiled. Was actually surprisingly (machine) sharp out of the box. I really liked the *design* of this knife and the fit in my hand. Again the flaws it had were to be expected at this price point, realistically... The sheath was a no-go though. Keep that in mind if this is your first tracker Knife thst these by and large come with "strap it in the small of your back only" sheaths.

I completely like this. Fits my hand perfectly while using it around the campsite. It's sharp for big fat steak and subs cuts kindling easy however since it's Damascus and the pattern is attractive you do HAVE to keep it clean use a small craft wire brush from time to time and. Find on line 100% viscosity mineral oil to. Keep it from surface rust.. The sheath is thick and stiff not a cheap quality buttoned straps for hang carry side carry pocket for small whetstone 1x3 1/4 to 3/8, thick ISH... " red brandpins reminds me of a coat of arms so to speak custom handgrip 1/4 full Tang this will last me the rest of my life. I'd like to have a sheath exactly like this one but made for a right hand person please This is a left handed sheath.

I got this for my husband for his birthday he loved it the Damascus pattern was beautiful such a value for your money and it was nice and thick.

Couteau avec une très belle lame, mais le manche du couteau est coupant, le jumelage des differents matériaux du manche sont inégal et sont coupant, le manche devra être repris. Mais en général c'est bien pour le prix!
