Tinted Lip Balm, Red Dhalia, 0.15 Ounce by Burt's Bees

The most moisturising lip balm I’ve tried. The tint is very subtle and beautiful. I’ve repurchased this product over 20 times and have one in each of my hand bags at all times.

the best dark tinted lip balm! really moisturising and you can build up the colour which i love! very similar to the clinique one for me personally!

I have been buying this colour Burt's Bees tinted balm for years. It gives a lovely lip colour and moisturises well but... this latest order for Red Dhalia came in different colour packaging (lighter) which is ok except that the intensity of colour is significantly compromised. It's more of a rose pink than a red dhalia.

This is my first time using a Burts Bees product and I am very impressed. Once received, I was happy to see that the packaging comes with a freshness/safety seal which not many other brands offer. Being winter, chapped lips are something I deal with on a day to day basis and it can be painful at times so I was over the moon when on first application the buttery smooth texture instantly relieved painful dry skin on my lips. It’s been an hour since first use and it feels as if it’s just been freshly applied. The tint is an added bonus - it’s very low key and leaves a natural but rosy finish to it. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Like all of the new Burt's Bees tinted lip balms, this is a very subtle shade - don't go expecting a deep tint! But the Rose tinted lip balm is my very favourite of the three that I own. Although it doesn't look as dark as the Red Dahlia shade, it is actually brighter so it stands out a bit more when you put it on. A few things worth mentioning here. First of all, although it's not exactly cheap for tinted lip balm, this is a really high quality product. The packaging is gorgeous! I felt all special and spoilt as I opened the tube that the lipbalm came in. And it would make a really lovely gift or stocking stuffer. This tinted lip balm doesn't have the typical 'Burt's Bees' minty taste - it's more of a sweet, floral, almost bubble-gummy flavour. I really liked it actually but think it might be worth mentioning so you don't assume it's the same as their normal lip balm. And the texture is different, a bit thicker (but not sticky). All in all, a really lovely tinted lip balm. I own two others - one in Red Dahlia and one in Hibiscus - as well as this shade in Rose. None of them offer much of a tint, but just enough for a very subtle natural look. This one (Rose) is the brightest of the three and I like it best.

My go to lip balm. I have to wear lip balm everyday and have done for years and this is the best one for me. The tint adds so much more colour to my face as well as lips but it’s not messy colour like with lipstick and it’s not sticky like with lipgloss. I think it’s perfect and this is my personal favourite colour.

Well worth the hype! It came exactly on the day it said it would but I was still dying with anticipation every day of the week leading up to it! (I may or may not get a little too excited over Burt's bees) I got rose as I knew it compliments my pale skin well. For me, it contains just the right amount of colour for an everyday/school look and there are no worries about it getting on your teeth. It leaves my lips nice and moisturised (even in winter) and the other thing is that I know they're lookin' good too!! Couldn't rave about this enough!! I can tell I'm going to get through maaaany of these in my life!

I've always hated lip balm, but this one changed my mind. Easy to apply, lovely formula, and a great tint that adds a flattering pigment to the lip without making you look too made up. The balm looks great on its own, or with a nude lipstick on top, feels refreshing, and had a very good conditioning effect on dry lips. I've since gone on to use other Burts Bees balms - some good, some not so good, and this range is the best. Highly recommended.
