The tour pack disconnect did not come with instructions, but it was evident that, although this would fit with modifications on my 1989 electra glide sport, I would need to also purchase a license plate relocation bracket, a new detachable sissy bar and a new seat, because the original seat hardware cannot remain since it also has a sissy bar permanently attached. Return was allowed, minus the cost to ship it back.

First the hardware descriptions are inaccurate, the count of bolts was incorrect, and I wound up having to use my existing hardware to make it work. Once I muscled on the somewhat misaligned rear mounting bracket, I discovered that the removable tour pack mount had a slot that was too small to fit over the front mounting point (see pic). Now I wait to see if they have one that is meant for this mount.

What I have found wrong with the mount is the rubber surrounding the rear mounts is not durable. It has ripped every time I put the quick release back on the bike. I’ve taken it off and put it back on three times so far and the rubber around the back mount has fallen off and makes the trunk rattle. In my opinion they should’ve use neoprene on the back mound instead of rubber.

Did have to tinker with Bushing the mounts out about 5/16” wider per side but easy to do with some washers. So convenient.

Did not fit very well at first although I will say very sturdy from what I have on so far due to the fact that nuts and bolts were missing I hope you have better luck getting all your parts than I did! Update was contacted by support and offered a rebate to offset missing items, was nice to see them putting forth the effort will shop with them again!
