Lovely mug, but misleads about the packaging, IMO.
3.5 out of 5 stars. The mug is absolutely beautiful, and I know the recipient will love it. Her favorite color is teal so this was a great find. However, here is nothing beautiful about the packaging as the description says. It's just an unattractive, brown cardboard box. Yuck. I've seen other mugs on Amazon that do indeed come in lovely gift packages, so that's what I was expecting. I was just planning to tie some pretty ribbon around the box, but now I have to gift wrap it to hide the ugly. A disappointment and a hassle.

Not only does this have my favorite scripture on it, but this mug is a perfect size for my tea and washes well!

Wanted to find a low key 60th birthday gift for a female friend simply to show I remembered it was one of the "BIG ONES" without too much hoopla. This is a beautiful mug for a 60th b'day that I'm sure will be used again and again because it's not over the top. {although I did get a loud 60th mug for my bro's 60th b'day from the same company that he uses all the time, go figure(:)} Only downside is:there's no gift card provided. She called to thank me for the lovely cup and knew it was from me. I had sent a b'day card by mail stating a goodie was on it's way. Great find.

The mug is nicely made. It's a large size as well, probably able to hold at least 12 ounces.

I gave this to my mom for her 60th birthday. When she opened it, she had tears in her eyes. She was so excited to reach this milestone and now she would be reminded of it every morning.
