Q: Dimensions wrong? It is called a 9 and 1/2-in block plane and yet the dimensions given are under 7 in

Wrong name, the sole is 6 1/4 x 1 3/4". For my needs this is adequate.

Q: Is this for the set in the description or for the block plane in the photos?

I got the block plane only. The description is very wrong.

Q: What's the deal w/ there being 2 separate block planes, one says 9 1/2 & another @ 6 1/2 but in the product dimensions both are the same?

Having not seen the planes , I would say 1 is a standard plane and the other is a low angle plane.

Q: How exactly is the mouth adjustable?

With the screw adjusting knob on the back / end of the block plane. Counter clockwise increases the depth of cut, while clockwise decreases the depth of cut.
